Great video!! Can’t stress enough about having extra fuel pressure gauges. Another thing is plenty of extra AN fittings I found out yesterday replacing my fuel pump and rerouting my fuel lines I wished I had a larger assortment of extra AN fittings anyway thank you!!!
@Burndown

AN fittings are a little spendy to get started with but are great because you can use them over and over. I have extra everything except whatever I need that day most of the time 🤣 Thanks for watching.

I've been sub'd 2 day's.. Great channel! I've watched like 10 video's so far. Watch how fast RU-vid's algorithm starts picking up on your channel a little bit and suggesting it. you're at 11.5k now watch how fast with just me binge watching makes your channel grow. Just by watching your videos all day long to catch up..

I’m gonna have to incorporate that pre-filter gauge idea on my c10 when I add the turbo…..smart idea

It helps you know if you need to change your filter or not. When I go to a dominator ill put a pressure transducer back under the car so I have it on my display so I can see when its time for a filter swap. Till then ill climb under the car if im seeing any weird fuel stuff. haha

ok,, i have been watching you for a bit now.. your funny, and very infornative. i dont have a turbo unit, but learning all the same. you hit a LOT of truth in this video,, a;; so much.. i like the setup on your fuel system, that is smart.. i will use that on mine.. new sub.. have fun, keep passing, feed the kids...👍👍

Don't filter your vent! Can build up pressure if it gets plugged up! Did it on my old nitrous carb build. Made my carb over flow and started a fire at the end of the track. Had to wait for safety crew to get there to put it out. Was a mess! I ran for years without one, then decided to put one on and was fighting tuning issues that year and didn't figure it out until the fire. Just loop the open line around, at least 3 times.
@Burndown
@Burndown 2 года назад
It is looped. I think most of my junk was coming from the tank. When I had external pumps the filters would get all the junk that the tank would catch because it collects in the sump and would end up in my filters.
@funfun8095

@@Burndown Just keep it that way. No filter. E85 is a dirty fuel, too. Could be some of the debris issue. It's not from and open vent. Your cell isn't a vacuum. Isn't going to suck dirt from atmosphere.

Have you thought about putting ports in the fuel lines before your Y fitting so you can check each pump for a health check?
@Burndown
@Burndown 2 года назад
Its easier just to un plug them one at a time and see how much pressure one will make and then do the other. I did that but not on camera.

@@Burndownan you please do a video on how to set up your fuel pressure I’m running 76lbs injectors from Holley and a aeromotive, fuel pressure my injectors run on 43lbs should my terminator x read 43 lbs at idle

I'm about to do an upgrade on my fuel system but with an inline pump setup on e85. I'm just curious on why you went with series plumbing on your rails vs splitting them? I've been told both ways by different companies.
@Burndown
@Burndown 2 года назад
Because the truck brackets place the alternator in front of the fuel rail so you have to 90 out of the driver side rail. I made that the last injector so the 90 wouldn’t hurt flow. Now that I changed my brackets I will y it before the rails and the t them together with a regulator and send that back to the tank. If works for how it is fir now tho but if I had to start over that’s how I would do it for a big fuel application

Where do you get your hard lines and fitting from?
@Burndown
@Burndown 2 года назад
I buy the tubing from Spruce air craft and you can get your fittings from Warr Performance if you don't have a local spot to get some.
@floridashitglee9387
@floridashitglee9387 Год назад
Hey quick question you think that can be the cause of my misfire because my gauge says 48 psi I’ve adjusted it multiple times and on the terminator is says it’s negative 7-11
@Burndown
@Burndown Год назад
You need consistant pressure for the car to run correctly. A misfire can be a few things but diagnosing things over the internet is a stretch. I would say get a temp gun and check the heat on each cynlander form a cold start and see if they are all firing. Check your plugs as well to see if you have any clean plugs that look like they ar not lighting or really dark plugs that could be fouled.

is ur waste gate running on the tubines exhaust outlet?
@Burndown

The waste gate should have pressure from the compressor if your running boost control yes.

It from Warr Performance. I had them make it because my fuel rail ended in the back of my alternator. They have them. Check the site!

Get an adjustable Powermaster alt. Then when you can, you can upgrade to a 14 volt system.
@Burndown
@Burndown 2 года назад
So your system stays at 14v? A typical alternator will charge around 14V.
@funfun8095
@funfun8095 2 года назад
@@Burndown A 14 volt system will charge at 16.7 volts, roughly. 14 volts will help improve all your electrical components. 16 volt systems are best, but with the alternator charging at 18.5 volts or so, is too much for coils. People running 16 volts usually don't run an alternator. Smart coils say not to run them over 17 volts. Basically, if some is buying a new battery and alternator, you might as well go 14 volts.
@funfun8095
@funfun8095 2 года назад
@@Burndown The powermaster alt can be adjusted for 12, 14, or 16 volt systems.

I have all Radium fuel components including there 100 micron and a 10 micron filter. I run the 100 between the tank and external fuel pump and the 10 between the pump to my I.D. injectors....is this correct?

Yes it sounds correct. When I had external pumps I had a pre and a post filter. You should be good to go!
