Sad to see Efren dog it first rack but so happy to see home come with many great shots. He had an incredible tournament and probably the toughest draws in the bracket. We're pretty privileged to witness these matches, the legendary Efren battling against some of pool's current top tier players, not that he isn't in that tier, it's just amazing how long he's been there. This is the only sport that this is possible in, but even though it's possible Efren is still beyond amazing. So much respect to the greatest living legend of pool's time.
I disagree Efren in his prime for money would take Dennis in the backroom personally I don't think Dennis would play hin for money and buddy hall would take everybody for money.
That initial miscue by ER cost him the match. Also, I am not sure why he let him shoot that last push shot. Although, it is VERY easy to be an armchair pool player. These are gods. Thank you for a great video.
The King against the Prince, what a game!! Well, the king is passing over the spear to his prince so to speak ! Dennis is the guy the phillipines has to rank as number 1 after the legend Efren " Bata " Reyes. There are some other players there, i know that, but " Robocop " will be the guy to beat from now on. May the balls roll guys...Cheers...
Camera is too far away from the table. I don't need to see the 3 tables behind the one in play at the expense of making the balls microscopic on my phone.
He was not pattern racking. The 1 and the 2 need to be front and back in certain tournaments to ensure consistency in spreading them apart in the break. However he had the break to a tee. Which probably should have enforced the 3 point rule (3 balls past the head string).
Well from what im hearing after the match between Busty and Orcollo talking looks like Efren has something to say about the racking of balls but im not 100% sure if it came from efren or someone else.
Dennis is known for his pattern racking. Did you see how he switched his break from the side to closer to center table. That's when he started pattern racking.
I just practiced the Efren extra stroke and wow it worked so good. Just keep the stick moving your eyes wanna go to the cue ball and that’s ok for a sec.
after 40 years of playing over and over, i think hes a bit bored and not trying so hard to concentrate anymore. Just taking it easy, making some bucks and hanging out with friends.
Ridho Illahi I noticed that one too. Could be prototype?? He normall plays with that black n white cue. Anyways it wasn't the cue they were talking about haha
Ridho Illahi those cue are locally made in efrens hometown pampanga... I used to by my cue stick from pampanga it is just a small shop in his garage were efren had the cue. You can chose color weight and designs. Its customized

Wow... last few racks wingball always made it to bottom right pocket and the 1 and 2 up table.. either very very VERY consistent breaks or Dennis is up to something... 🤔
Uncle Quack lol. Dennis is better now. But back then this dennis got no chance against reyes or busti. Besides we all have that unlucky game. In terms of who got the better career, nobody can come close to Reyes’s achievements.
Efren got destroyed here by the Robocop. SVB and Dennis are the two top players in the world right now, unless those Taiwanese players prove themselves more in competitions in the States.
Efren's cue is the worst stick you can get for 100$, come on dude, you need a better one you are not young any more, take the new stuff to be even with young sharks
What a cue looks like does not matter. What matters is how comfortable you are shooting with it. Ive got a $100 rage cue and a $800 Muecci but I'm more comfortable shooting with my rage.
