Yes he did give the game to his opponent . Efren has probably played with far worse cue sticks in his life . He finds a way with his skill and brains . He's very smart .
3:16 Efren Hits the 9 so hard, There is a cut in the recording, the 9 ball was sent 2 million years into the future hence we don't see the shot because it's soo incredibly fast
Efren amazes like no other. These are top class tournaments, not just some random pubs. And he has the guts to win them with risky trick shots. Hats off!
I am taking nothing away from Efren, he is an 11 and I am a 2. LOL!! But I shot for many years with a cue that had a quite warped shaft. It was an inexpensive 3 piece cue with a snooker shaft and an 8 ball shaft. I just found the high point and marked it with a line down the ferrule. I always shot with the mark line up. Guys would ask me how I could shoot with it. This is what I told them " pool is a matter on consistency, and if I always have that line up, I am consistent" I called that line my gun sight. I won several ( 25-30 ) bar table tournaments with it and a ton of games otherwise. I gave it up when I purchased a low deflection Meucci, and my game went up a notch or two. I love to watch Efren and try hard to emulate his style of easy cue ball control.
I’ve bear people with a broom handle. It was a smooth hustle. Actually easier to use because you have more surface area to hit the ball, BUT you don’t have the ability to control the ball the same way. This wouldn’t work against a shark though… I mean unless you’re Efren
The great Efren did win. When just a grip on his cue stick with an electrical tape to secure the cue stick grip is no problem at all. We Filipinos are great at tweaking / making remedies to such minor hindrances to performance... If our legendary Efren gave a chance to his opponent to run out a rack, I'm sure his opponent will want to run out all racks too... but kick shots/defense shots matter in such championship matches.. "don't let your opponent get back to the table again" . No chance, no mercy.. the gold is ours
He did give the rack to Baraks. And the way the audience clapped their hands for him like…finally, you can have a moment. What a man Reyes could be. Giving a moment to an opponent. That’s something else. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 But bruh, your sad BGM for Baraks makes it sadder for him. 😂
The last question was a bait to arrogance show and he responded with such humility I love this guy. I'm a new pool fan just discovering Efren Reyes and I think he's the most likeble pool player ever. Mark Williams is also one of my favourites
the reason why efren did that in rack six because he felt that he is just practicing alone during this match...he wanted to feel that he also has an opponent and this is final game😂😂
Off course Efren clearly gave that rack to Baraks to add some spice to a meat for more interesting aroma and taste🤭🤭😅 We love Efren There'll never be another man like him
That was amazing and I'm not taking anything away from either one of these players I remember a guy who played at their level but never went pro and when I asked him why he said he didn't want the government to get part of his money from his talent
Boss Efren dapat ireview mo po yung BILLIARD CRYPTO first nft game na biliard ikaw dapat ang main na influencer nun hehehe kasi ikaw ang pinaka the best sa buong mundo pag dating sa billiard.
He gave him that rack. He can beat you with a normal beat down pool cues stick you use in a low cost public pool game spot. We have a lot of those back home in the Philippines.
They're playing 9-ball for all games, and the first one to win 7 games (or racks) of 9-ball is the winner of the match. ("The first one to win 7 games" is also called a "race to 7".)
I have said it before and will say it again, Efren is a Gentleman and this not the first time I said he "gave" away a game so as not to cause embarassment to a decent Person having a bad game. That is his way but he will swallow them hole if they are the arrogant type.🙂😉🙃
It's not an improvised cue stick. Misleading, click bait video. Very good game though. All you need to write is "Efren Bata Reyes" and it should be good enough to watch.
American guy looks like he lost way before he did. It's a race to seven no matter the score of his opponent he still had and always did had to get to 7. Yourself is always your opponent no matter the game .
Obviously Efren gave the sixth rack to James,it was not even a safety shot..i dont think Efren felt sorry for James because he is well known for not giving his opponents even the slightest chance to come back to the table..probably Efren only want to have a little rest while James finishes up the rack
Efren tired to turn around the pool table, thats why he gave to baraks that racks 6, becouse he wants to sat on the chair, he wants to relax i a minute😂😂
Efren is too good to compete with other rising pool players so he has to give a chance to get at least 1 score, if the opponent breaks well for sure he will give a tie score to Mr.Efren but as I can see the opponent is too aggressive he doesn't hesitate to shoot.
