Bus bars are using insulated standoffs not heat shrink tubing for isolation. Thanks for showing the cage in detail. And forget about the silly cross connecting of the bus bars. Charge and discharge current is controlled by the BMS. You have more resistive loss inside each individual battery than through a solid copper bus. Looks better when the wire is uniform.
