I’m enjoying revisiting the old “OG” Mammana cooking videos. I’ve been a subscriber since he started his channel. He’s the original “ Hippy Dippy “ pressure cooker man ! 😄
Even though these vids are old they are so helpful. I bought a mini rice cooker off of ebay that didn't have a manual. No recipes. So thanks for these!! It's the coolest kitchen gadget I own right now I love it. I would prolly toast the muffins then put spam in pot then the egg. When it's done I would add the cheese on top and put lid on. Get my muffin on a plate then scoop it out. Dunno. Haven't tried a sammich yet.
here’s a game changer for you - it reheats mcdonald’s mcmuffins like you just got it at the counter yourself and are about to eat it!! in fact I think they taste better because they aren’t as let’s say chewy as they come from the big d. wrap the sandwich in one layer foil - where you have the ends meet and then fold them over in the middle twice and just tuck each side under it. one cook button cycle only, open & eat / it’s perfect and doesn’t need ANY cool down or second guessing! they come out perfect every time
I think it was taking a long time to cook because the dry bread at the bottom was acting as an insulator. The dry bread at the bottom would slow down the heat transfer from the bottom of the pot to the egg/spam.
Lol. Nope, I have cast iron and have this, it’ll take 2 minutes to get cast iron hot then you have to tend to the food. I’m not saying one is better than other but you can’t compare apples to pears. This way you can carry on doing other things while cooking and Don’t forget the time to clean up all the grease splatter around the stove once you’re done with the cast iron skillet.
I wonder if you could put the Spam slice on the bottom, then the eggs. When eggs are cooked, add cheese slice and muffin. When you dump it out, can assemble sandwich. I’m going to have to get one of these cookers!
they do have those breakfast sandwich makers now. I love mine but mine is a single but they make doubles now which I recommend. I find it perfect to eat and run.
Yes, silicon spatula, and those short silicon potholders that just cover your fingertips to handle the hot metal pot. Cloth potholder seems an awkward tool here.
Nice video, and yes, I remember Spam and like you, I like it!! If you want to make a 'make at home Egg McMuffin', you should check out the Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker. It works great, heats up in just a couple minutes and your sandwich is done in 4-5 minutes. I love mine and my 87 year old next door neighbor even got one and she loves hers! I also like this W P rice cooker, don't have one yet, but in the next couple minutes, I'm gonna get one. I'm a single senior and the rice cooker will let me make things like meat loaf that will last a couple days and then I can make something different rather than eating meat loaf for several days on end!!!
Do you have a Cooks Essential Perfect Pot? I love mine. It has both a rice setting and a timer set button for the Cook mode....both will go to keep warm.
Just FYI.... it's about the same size as the Wolfgang Puck rice cooker as far as footprint...but has the additional features I mentioned. Thanks for your vids.
@@lastnamefirst_ No, I've had mine for almost 2 years. If not now, it used to be available at QVC snd Amazon. I did not look hard, but found this on Ebay: www.ebay.com/p/Cooks-Essentials-5-cup-Digital-Cooker-W-Recipes-Black-K44485/23015325040?iid=382624429479&chn=ps&ul_ref=https%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F711-117182-37290-0%252F2%253Fmpre%253Dhttps%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.ebay.com%25252Fp%25252FCooks-Essentials-5-cup-Digital-Cooker-W-Recipes-Black-K44485%25252F23015325040%25253Fiid%25253D382624429479%252526chn%25253Dps%2526itemid%253D382624429479%2526targetid%253D535609525576%2526device%253Dm%2526adtype%253Dpla%2526googleloc%253D1014573%2526poi%253D%2526campaignid%253D1590235577%2526adgroupid%253D59485653105%2526rlsatarget%253Dpla-535609525576%2526abcId%253D1140216%2526merchantid%253D7927964%2526gclid%253DCjwKCAiA8rnfBRB3EiwAhrhBGhjf7cIpYqqg3FPkH2dUyHm8mcNoaYDNOHhl4Klj6W93V2Z-pboQExoCbagQAvD_BwE%2526srcrot%253D711-117182-37290-0%2526rvr_id%253D1743717023383%2526rvr_ts%253D1cfe8b411670ac1f46472905ffedc887
The doggie is so cute! Name? The finished sandwich looked good. But I still look forward to more of your creative PC recipes! Yet it's fun to experiment with new gadgets too!
Rick Mammana Roxy is a sweetie. From watching your other videos, I think she is a meat loving pup. Interesting vid. Keep up the good work filming the experiments.
Oh yes! This cold weather is terrible! It's snowing right now, another 5 inches and below zero temps. Roxy would love it too. More food creations on the way. :)
