I was wondering the same thing. If it was salt, I'd find that very unpleasant, but sugar would be different, but probably tasty. All of it looks delicious though.

It’s sugar, koreans are weird they use sugar on top of ketchup. As if they want to make the sandwich as sweet dessert rather than lunch etc.

@@inkbold8511 It's strange, because most commercially available ketchup, tomato sauce, and even some mayonnaise already has some amount of sugar in them. I also notice they don't seem to add any salt or pepper to the eggs. Not that I noticed anyway. Still looks delicious though.

Probably make it yourself, although I'd prefer to just buy it too, lol. Is that shredded cabbage and egg mix? The granulated stuff is sugar, plus ketchup.
