Unlike lower quality portable egg washer machines or egg washing only machines our egg washer is well constructed with an integrated grader that has proven to us that they are low-maintenance, durable and safe. This unit has stainless steel sealed bearings that won’t rust or corrode. Food grade mineral oil is required for the seals around the egg conveyor system (but is easy to access) Made from food grade heavy duty aluminum plate and HDPE plastic, this egg washer/grader is both safe (machine guards in place) and easy to clean.
Similar equipped unit with instant hot water unit [but no wastewater macerator] new currently retails for over $34,000 (without freight) through National Poultry in Marion, Iowa (Our unit has less than 3 years of light use (less than 5 hours per week), and has been regularly maintained by skilled tradesperson
