Tried the cake. It came out great....Tasted delicious. Thanks so very much for the tutorial. Use of turmeric powder was a very clever n natural way to enhance the colour.
This cake screams out summer to me! Lemon is such a versatile flavour and you always make your baking look so flawless - its amazing! Thank you so much for sharing Fiona!
Another piece of art... this year I became interested in inclusive baking for people with food restrictions or that just want to to avoid gluten and milk/egg protein and here in Brazil a popular substitute of eggs (besides fruit purees like applessauce) is white sweet potato (40 g for each egg) + vinegar + a stronger livener (baking soda for instance). It is citrus season here, I'll try this one. Thanks.
J B . I sure that Fiona knows al eggs replecements, that why she uses yogurt , sour cream or buttermilk. .... I like flexiseed and applesauce ,pearssauce and datesauce ....etc 😙💚💚

Hey Fiona, I made the Lemon curd for the first time and had it too for the first time. It was delicious. Thankyou so much for the recipe. Keep Growing ⭐🌟
The color of this cake is simply amazing, looks so fresh, perfect for Summer...and you used turmeric powder! I've never tried to use it as natural food color, I was scared that it could change the flavor, but I'm very glad to hear that the flavor doesn't change, wow! Always glad to learn something new from you, thank you
Hi Valentina, yes just a quarter tsp or the most slightly more than that you'll not notice the taste at all. Also the lemon fragrant is so strong that it already shadowing the tumeric. I somehow find it strange to add colouring to the curd. Thanks for being here, you have a wonderful weekend 💕🥰
Hey! I made the curd and frosting today (I followed another recipe for the cake portion). The curd turned out amazing, but the frosting needed some help. I added in a little lemon oil extract, double the sweetened condensed milk, and a about a cup of powdered sugar because there was an overwhelming buttery taste without it. Overall, this is a terrific recipe!
omg, thank you so much and can you make a red velvet cake recipie I made this today and i found it just delicious. and I love that you make treats containing eggs and ones that don't contain eggs pls don't stop making videos. If I am being honest, this is the only channel i use for baking
Looks brilliant.. I'm planning to use this as vanilla sponge for mango and cream Cake (will omit the lemon juice and zest) .. would you recommend to use it?
That sponge! Its so fluffy, what can i replace lemon juice with to make a plain vanilla sponge? I have tried your eggless vanilla cake! But this seems so much more fluffy😍
Hi. For 4 inch, you probably need only three quarter of this recipe. Means you'll multiply by 0.75 for each ingredient. For 6 inch, I'll probably advise that you just use the exact same measurements of this recipe as it'll just be a fraction of difference between 6 and 7 inch, not much. ☺️
Hi your all videos are eggless. It's really amazing. Always I am waiting your eggless because I am pur vegetarian. Can you share eggless Leamington recipe.
I think I've had all the metric and cups measurement in the description box. Gram and ml doesn't make a big difference so you can follow the g for oil. I used a 7 inch pan
