this got blocked so I remade, extended & finished the whole song. If this gets blocked again, I'll remake it again, until the end of time. I will not be silenced
Hey, lots of new people comin in, welcome welcome! As you probably heard, I make music and it is Silly and Cool. Subscribe and go check it out! In other words... This is just a small taste of my true power ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jSTXUfL-crM.html
@@ralseidemurrerI remember the first time I heard it it felt out of sync and in sync at the same time, but now (after a total of 2h of listening) it feels perfectly in sync, my brain has accommodated to it. Science is weird
@@kritzmaker I feel like the moment you place arbitrary restrictions on what's "real" music, you lose out on potentially life-changing tunes. There's so much _stuff_ out there, so you should let yourself enjoy all that there is It feels a bit silly to say that under a song like this, but it rings true for this and many other things. There are people who don't consider video game music to be "real", which I will always argue against
Truly beautiful, and even better than the original one. Art cannot be killed. Like a phoenix from the ashes, it will ALWAYS rise and grow stronger, copyright be damned.
I struggled with the identity and originality of the song for the longest time. The Hawaii melody was the last thing I added and I'm glad I did, it's like my favorite part
Honestly the visuals are very well edited, even though it’s mostly just clips from the dub its still very well done and I don’t think it would be anywhere near as fun without it
Listen I don’t normally care to comment like at all, BUT THIS IS SO GOOD AND YOU DESERVE THE PRIASE. You did an amazing job with this I already love Alfred Coleman as Dr. Robotnik but you took it to a whole other level. It’s the right amount of slap to silly ratio and honestly it’s the best snapcube edit I’ve ever heard. Thanks for this, made my week.
@@Waddoop The "July" version? That's some funky shit. I'm glad to be able to hear it properly without the VO on top. edit: damn, the Arps. My guy. Yes. dunno what the weird knocking noises are in the final quarter, but eh, laptop speakers
Tysm for making this song. I wonder what Alfred would think of it lol. This is extremely underrated & I’m thankful it showed up in my recommended & I’m surprised that even when copyright was a big problem that got in you way of making this song you persisted. Btw I recently played through SA2 for the first time a few days ago & it was amazing lol
@@Waddoop I would suggest just playing Sonic’s story in SA1, just because the other ones aren’t that great in my opinion. Although I still have yet to finish Knuckles or Tails’ stories so I’m not sure. I also haven’t touched the big, Amy, or gamma stories so I’m not sure about those either lol so give it a go & see if they’re enjoyable. Also there’s no lore that ties SA1 & SA2 together so if you skip SA1 you aren’t missing much
@@maxrichards5925 Yeah, I've heard the other stories aren't the best. The main reason why I wanna play SA1 first is because the spindash is deliciously broken and I love movement based bugs, and if I went straight to SA2 I feel like I'd be spoiled rotten by City Escape to the point where I wouldn't even wanna touch 1. Also, I just found out that someone has modded the fandub dialogue into SA2, so I think I will be playing that
@@Waddoop Oh yeah the spin dash tech is amazing lmao, especially in emerald coast which is the first stage. Also if I decide to get the steam port of SA2 I might try that mod, but I’ll wait until it goes on sale if that’s possible lol.
I can’t decide which is the best part of this, it’s all such a banger and legitimately sounds so good at so many points. Like another commenter said, the syncing, editing, and general quality clearly goes up throughout the video. Tack on a genuinely great *totally original 8-bit instrumental* and an improved understanding and love of Alfred’s Eggman voice and this is a masterpiece of music. Be proud, you’ve earned it.
@@Waddoop I've been listening for 1h today so far. I'm doing a coding project rn and it's keeping me focused this is a very powerful announcement edit : 3 hours now lol
@@lucywoomy That's amazing! I can't focus on anything if I'm listening to something high energy, or basically anything with lyrics. Like if I was writing something while listening to this, I'd be accidentally typing "crackin" and "eggs" every now and then
@@Waddoop I think since I've been listening to the song for so long the lyrics just became part of the music instead of being added to it. Idk if it makes sense but I can't stay focused while listening to something with lyrics like you, but only if it's something new because if it's something new or that I haven't heard much I will either instinctly try to understand the lyrics or I will be thinking about the lyrics and write them instead of what I'm trying to write because it mixes with my other thoughts kinda like you said. Maybe this song isn't as high energy to me anymore but is more at an entertaining level keeping me motivated because I've been listening to it for so long. Also since it's a coding project and not a writing one it's a different kind of task that doesn't mix with the music. Like you can talk to someone or listend to someone/something while doing manual/physical tasks, but not while writing or reading. Since my thing is about coding, it's not the same as writing something. Idk if I would accidentaly write "crackin" and "eggs" if I was writing something with this in the background, maybe. Anyway this is fire and I've managed to find a good sound level so I can hear it for a long time without getting a headache :D
@@lucywoomy That makes sense! It's definitely about how new the content of the song is to you and how much brain processing is required to understand it. Once the song becomes familiar it all kinda melts into one smooth block made of non-intrusive stimuli that no longer asks for your attention. I definitely condone safe and comfortable volume levels while listening to my songs. This song can be particularly draining because it is very _powerful,_ and quite treble-focused. I do my best when mixing but I'm scared someone's gonna blow their ears out on a song I mixed badly (though youtube probably makes sure that doesn't happen, with their vehement volume normalization)
for exactly 4 months straight, i have listened to this every night before going to bed. i can no longer sleep without hearing all points, no quills, no pillows as i drift away
Just found this and, Holy, Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, WOW... This was something that I wasn't expecting to go well at ALL. Managed to get everything for this to work, I could imagine it being difficult, but syncing it up with the music is in a different level. Well done my guy. P.s: Crackin eggs? Shu- shut up, shut the fu- up was nice to hear as the guy interrupts Alfred.
