I didn’t want to burden my family with the cost, and I am not interested in getting the part of my wishes family agreed with, so I picked everything out myself and paid myself. No one elses opinion and no one can explain how expensive it was. One days visitation, not in a funeral home. One viewing for Family and a very few close friends by invitation and one night viewing for the public with open bar and light food and desserts. I didn’t go for the Gold Casket. Most of the folks that windup in them do it for the publicity and are usually televised. I bought the Marsellus Casket with a Red Velvet. I want to be buried like Hugh Heffner. Even having games with prizes. Who knew me best. The prizes are my valuables. And “Pin the Tail on my X Wife” I want her to know she didn’t get all my money. And that she could Kiss my....
The plastic wrapping and tray is actually more recent. Some places haven’t stated to use the casket wrapping as yet. And you might neeg to request it. But it will definitely stop leakage. the cost is a few hundred dollars, it varies from place to place. Sealed and metal caskets definitely nneed it to stop casket explosions from gases that build up eventually. I know it sound gross, but i did my homework before I purchased.

Egino was my father. He passed away 9/2016. I put this up for my Italian family whom could not make to the funeral. He came to the USA in 1952. He was a gas station owner for a number of years. He was handy with tools and loved gardening. He eventually got a job as a machine operator at Twin Disc making transmissions. He retired after 25 years. I was born in one house and we moved to a new house he had built when I was seven years old. He visited Italy several times and some of those visits brought his children. Lots of great memories. He died from lung issues. Not easy watching a parent die in front of you. I am very surprised that this video got 135k views. The burial was 6 years ago and I still get contents on it. I guess I should be honored.
@@Pizzaman7 Thank you so much for all that information about your Father. It sounds as if he lived a good life, a life he wanted and enjoyed. My parents are still around...alive and kicking. They are both in their early 90's. My Mother has dementia, very badly. She thinks my brother is her daughter, doesn't always recognize my Dad as her husband, strange thing is she knows me....but not as her son. But we have phone conversations, good ones, but always with a twist of the Twilight Zone thrown in. Conversations with my Father have become so much closer since this horrible mess with my Mother started. We were never super close. He's not the warm and fuzzy type of guy, but I always knew that I was loved...they may not have understood me, but I was loved. So my best hopes for a happy life to you and your family. Death separates us from our beloved ones, it darkens our bright holidays, it always spoils the joy of our existance, it deprives of sense all the efforts of home arrangement, accumulation of money, getting education, piling up knowledge and various skills. All our titles, diplomas, certificates, awards, decorations become useless, completely useless when our hearts stop beating. Our bodies, so cherished during our lifetime, though washed, perfumed, covered with flowers will inevitably become food to worms or fire at last. How we hate and fear that cold snake - the death ! There is One, however, Who hates it even more. God, Who brings all things into existence, Who breathes life in all living creatures. He Himself is the very negation of the death, absolutely incompatible with it. That is why, immediately after death entered the world, even before that, God had a plan how to defeat it. The problem was not a technical one. There are no technical problems to God. A million of difficulties, many of them insoluble, stand before our physicians, biologists, scientists, engineers, all of them trying to prolong the life of the sick and the old even though an extra day. It is not the case to the Almighty. He is in absolute control of all physical, chemical, biological laws in nature, so He is able to give a perfect health and life to each of His creatures at every moment of the time. The problem to God was juridical : How to acquit the sinful man in order to have the right to give him eternal life. He could not free him from the guilt arbitrarily; justice demands punishment for crimes. God needed a legal ground to discharge the guilty man. And He found the solution, the only solution. Christ took upon himself the punishment we deserved for our sins. Although not guilty, he was beaten, insulted, and finally killed on the cross - to pay our debt to God. And since then, since first century A.D. a striking message, most important in all human history, started spreading all over the inhabited earth: Everyone who (first) repents, that is confesses and rejects lies, thievery, murder, lechery, everything that is wrong, and (second) believes in Jesus Christ, confesses him in public as a Lord and Saviour, receives from God complete forgiveness of the sins and (!) ETERNAL LIFE. Can we grasp it ? Everyone accepting that gift had to be baptized in water and take Lord's Supper with Christians. All authority of the Creator stand behind that promise.
Bravo christian and jesus. As muslim i respect christian put death body in casket. But better body direct buried in land , back we body gone with land ..natural create from god 🙏
I recently purchased two Community Mausoleum spaces. The bottom and the top are the least costly. The 3rd and 4th are the most costly. They are considered at eye level. also, in case of a low lying area flood, the bottom will collect water. the center was almost double the price.
We had a church service and then we had a service at the cemetery as well. My aunts and uncles wanted to watch the final process otherwise it would of been done after everyone left.
@@Pizzaman7 just wanted to clarify that statement I worked as a mortician for 11 years . No amount of embalming or preservation will save the body. The funeral industry exists to make a profit just like any other business, during my career I've handled exhumed bodies at different stages post burial and while there are plethora of factors that speed up or slow decomposition we are ultimately delaying the inevitable. The only exception might involve a casket wrapped in leak proof protection then placed within a high quality vault which is designed to hold even, as the soil shifts over time, and prevent it being flooded in which happens frequently than you would think,this will run you up thousands more on top of your package , vaccum sealed caskets normally explode due to gases and leave a not so good mess.Eventually it all depends on how the mausoleums are constructed with proper drainage and good ventilation to avoid nasty leaks.
@@randychief4284 wow ! This is a learning experience for me. I never have thought about this stuff. I assumed that the cemetery is doing their job properly and doing the right things. They are popular in our area. Now I have to wonder if there might be future issues. I have seen multiple comments on this stream as to the quality of this burial. My father pre-arranged this burial so I had no input. It's been almost 6 years now so I guess I will have to wait and see what will happen.
My father had made his own arrangements so not sure and 8th was handled by the cemetery. I can't even remember if it was made of wood or some composite material.
I just made my own arrangements. I bought a Mahogony Casket and a granite Mausoleum. The Cemetery I chose wraps the casket in a sealed tray that completely covers the caskets and works with the vents that are on the other side that allow the gases to escape. You can find this on youtube.. just another upcharge the spaces can run from 2k to 25K based on Cemetery, indoor, Outdoor under cover, or just plain outdoor exposed to the weather . You got to do you research before you decide...

Wow there's a lot going on here. I'm not sure this is a real entombment. They probably are going to come back and do it right or something, if not there will be leakage. The guy in the grey jacket clapped and dust off his hands nonverbally that means finished. Is he family nobody looks sad except the older man. Guys, I don't believe this is real.
I originally put this up for my family in Italy to see years ago because they could not afford to fly out for it. This isn't real ? So I hired actors and used CGI to create this ? I don't have that kind of time or money. I don't know the technical aspects of running cemeteries but let's face it...if you're dead does it really matter ?
