I was really curious what the blade tip speed is for the LM2130. I've noticed it increase speed significantly when going through thick grass and the cut was actually better there than during normal operation.

It seems like there is an ANSI standard that limits this to 19,000 Feet per Minute now. It also appears this used to be 21,000 and many Exmark mowers run at this speed.

My sense is that bumping the speed of the blade a bit (maybe 10%) would significantly help the cut. I really wish Ego had this option and I'd love to tinker with the motor controller to kick up the speed, but I have no idea how to do that. Please comment if you'd like to collaborate on it.
