This video is an update video for the Ego Power Station Generator. It contains a little bit of bad news and quite a bit of good news. The bad news being what you actually can't do with the generator. Watched the full video - thanks for posting man. I’m doing research to see if I should recommend this product to people looking to power off grid setups. It looks like the power is there. It can run AC’s for extended periods of time so that’s awesome. I just don’t think I could recommend it over a larger Jackery for two reasons. 1.) There is no pass through charging. 2.) The solar power option is terrible and slow. The thing is an absolute beast though. Hope they fix those two things. If so, its easily the best.

If you build power station be much better and used water proof tool box wich i did i have 1500 watts 110AC 60Hz 15A 12V inverter i have 4 12V battery 3 18A,1 20A I Have 2 20A breaker for my 2 110AC outlet and i have VCD 250A switch for my inverter to shout off from battery i have volt meter and battery metter with cooling fan and solar charger i can even be out side in rain not have worried my power station will not get damage

I bought a 7.5amh battery off of Ebay. Worked for a while then went red. Ego will not warranty it! BUYER BEWARE! Buy batteries from authorized dealers. Ace hardware, lowes and Amazon.

Yup just as I expected. This battery station that you are trying to explain. It's called pass through charging and I have 1 battery station that can do it. It's Allpowers 372Wh with a Bluetooth app and wireless charging pad on top and it's on amazon. Also they also have Allpowers monster x. But may take a long time for delivery. But anyway yup pass through charging is very important for some people like me. Also won't get the same features as you would with this station. Like replacing old batteries when charging cycle as been reached. But one trade off is you can buy more batterys over time and trade away the pass through charging and no 12v car socket too be able to connect battery stations together and it works pretty good with my setup. Also they even released a charger for solar panels for this unit and also I have a heavy duty 100watt solar panels for a possible power outage or charging some 40kobalt batteries to do battery push mowing. Also good luck and use those batteries wisely since they don't have pass through charging. But other then that still a pretty cool battery station that can get more batteries over time. Also P.S my setup is charging and only can run less power hungry stuff not higher then 300watts.
