Nkrumah had leftover of over 600 million pounds Sterling, but in a short period of time,after his overthrown he left millions of debt behind, does the infrastructure policies he laid down worth the amount he inherited from the colonial masters? Ghana would've be better of,if we're still under British rule,because Ghanaians have not benefitted from any of the leaders since independence, .
I am writing on authority to support Franko's statements. I have been a friend to the late Prof. Mills, and Nana Addo and to be honest with you Prez Mills and Akuffo Addo were great friends in Legon Hall (UG) in the 60s. They were both staunch CPP guys. After the 1966 coup, Akuffo Addo's dad was very worried that his son would be arrested, so he did everything to shield Nana Addo.
Point of correction to Franco, in 1966 Akuffo Addo was never a member of CONVENTION PEOPLES PARTY(CPP) Akuffo Addo was a kid,when his father became the ceremonial president in 1970,Akuffo was a small boy,he can never be a member of CPP.
@@mistyblvq796 In those days Akuffo Addo was not matured to fly on his own wings,and the father was big man in UGCC party,they later became Progress party with Busia as its leader and Prime Minister in 1969,and head of government and Edward Akuffo Addo as ceremonial president,and during the time president was select by Prime Minister and forward to parliament for scrutiny and endorsement to be president. During those days no matter what your condition you can't over pass the authority of your father,to make your choice in life.
Good afternoon. With the perception that NPP is an Asantes party, the selection of Dr. Bawumia as the presidential candidate does not change it. If it's not so why is it that they said it's compulsory the running mate should be an Asante.

I'm not against what Mathew Opoku Prempeh said or for what he said,to me since Ghana's independence no Ghanaian leader has been exceptional in rebuilding our country, Kwame Nkrumah had millions of £s but didn't utilized it for the good use for Ghanaians. Ghanaians should wise up and forget the politics of the past and move forward to rebuild new Ghana for the benefit of the coming generations. Right now,Nkrumah is the past, he's the father of our independence that doesn't mean if someone criticize him we should take arms and go for war.
