In what appears to be the twilight of my life, I have a really deep appreciation and connection for songs like this, that I heard so often all those years ago. The hardest part is wishing you could go back and do it over, but realizing you never can. What a great song.
“Those days are gone forever”. True fact. Lots of good times of the past are now forever lost to us. If I could become a child and grow up with the SvR series once again, I would without thinking twice.
You should think twice... Not everything is what it seems. We tend to romanticize the past by only remembering the good times, and conveniently leaving out the less fortunate moments.
@@WH012Vids Adulthood for me has been nothing but stress. Obviously some people live differently and with better lives. But my childhood was the best years of my life. No work, bills, the world was so much simpler. I could make amends from the past. But time moves ever onward. The scars of the past may shape who we are today. But the memories are still carried.
I used to think that this was perfect And wish that it was never ending But those days are gone forever It's something I'm not missing There's a force there's a voice, in my head Telling me to think About the times that you were cruel and mean And I don't care if you walk away I'm here to stay and you need to hear You make me sick! But I love what we're doing here You make me sick! And I can't be the only one You make me sick! But I love what we're doing here You make me sick! And I can't be the only one I have to take advantage, before the moment passes by It's so hard to manage, the ups and downs of your life Someone help, someone speak, before I start to scream out Anything to break the silence You're holding me back, confined by doubt You make me sick! But I love what we're doing here You make me sick! And I can't be the only one You make me sick! But I love what we're doing here You make me sick! And I can't be the only one 'Cause I need you 'Cause I need you here with me When it falls through And I'm down upon my knees There's a force There's a voice in my head Telling me to think about everything Last time I believed Now I realize! You make me sick! But I love what we're doing here You make me sick! And I can't be the only one You make me sick! But I love what we're doing here You make me sick! And I can't be the only one Sick! Sick! Sick! Sick! You make me sick! You make me sick! You make me sick! You make me sick! You make me sick! You make me sick! You make me sick!
Same. I remember dealing with abuse and msging my best friend on myspace who lived a thousand miles away literally. Now we share a bed and a last name...amazing how much life can change
@@fryinglydone8987 then when you get older you be like What when other people talk to you then you wonder what they were saying because you blown out our ear drums.
Saw a comment on Facebook that mentioned this band and I KNEW IVE SEEN THEM BEFORE. I searched their name and saw this INSTANT NOSTALGIA. I played tf out of this song in 2009
I remember listening to this on Memphis radio back in the day and hearing the DJ compare the chorus to Toto “Africa.” Loved this song. Made me proud to be from Memphis.
And why the hell can’t 2K have these legendary soundtracks that would my the current younger generation, come back to You tube? Lmao The amount of times I go through the old soundtracks is crazy
I had some fun moments from playing SvR '09... and I missed those moments a lot. If I remember correctly, I played the game on two different console ports: XBOX 360 and PS3. I missed those days, that's why I made it my mission: Bring my memories of the good old days to the present, and do it at any cost.
Played SvR 2009 back in maybe 2014 on my Wii after begging my parents when I was like maybe 7 or 8. The soundtrack was legendary, really introduced me and my older brother to metal, and our love for wwe lol
I'm glad I can say I knew about this song before it was in a wrestling game. Don't get me wrong, the Smackdown games were life and will forever be a part of my nostalgia, I'm simply grateful to have heard this song through a friend before it hit a game.
SVR 2009 whatever happen to the good old days i wish I could give back my ps4 and all my games and all the gadgets to get the ps2 and it's amazing vibes !!!!
........they pretty mainstream in the US....FL anyway...I just saw them at rock on teh range in Ohio...they fell short just like A7X did. But....Sick Puppies, All that remains, bullet for mty valentine and puddle of mudd along with korn and distrubed....were fucking EPIC. This is my favorite EC song.
Ziku657 A7x fell short? And E.C. did too? Damn that doesn't sound like either of those bands. I was there 2018 and it was awesome. A7x, Tool, Yelawolf, Godsmack, etc etc too many to list.
