Continuing our tour of Egypt, we visited the Kom Ombo temple - located in the city by the same name about 30 miles north of Aswan. It's actually a double temple, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. In ancient times, the area was infested with crocodiles and many were mummified and now displayed in the nearby crocodile museum.
