Every time a flight-reviewer praises 'heaps of storage space' I find myself wondering how much stuff gets accidentally left behind after landing.

I've been on egyptair in economy class and it's really good service their really kind too I love egyptair

Very good review of Egypt Air. I have never flown them and all I recall about this airline are the two crashes that happened over the last decade or so. Great to know that they are improving. The new business class seemed to be very good.

I do keep watching your videos which are amazingly Raw and very true to experience I would appreciate you to make more videos on economy class as well. And love your surprise face when you are not expecting the unexpected things at airport to onboard

As an Egyptian, I can tell you that, in Egypt, for a lot of people, anything below well done beef is considered poisonous. It’s taken me decades to convince my parents to try medium rare steak. Also, it’s surprising that you got cold service. Egyptian hospitality is known throughout the region so it sucks that you didn’t get that on this flight.

Hi Josh! Believe me as an Egyptian I didn’t expect this from Egyptair ! Btw terminal 3 in Cairo is for star alliance airlines including egyptair. The terminal 2 serves the rest of the airlines so that explains why you departed from terminal 3. No idea why they checked you in at terminal 2 though and I must admit cairo airport needs a lot of improvement in terms of management. Great video by the way keep the good work 🙌

Absolutely correct. Crew is always a mess on Egyptair. It is the old "family connection" that recruits Cabin Crew. If they want to be a serious international competitor they should fire all the old crew and start an international recruiting to be on par with the other middle eastern carriers.

i never had a 'bad' crew except for AA and United. Would definitely try egyptair should i ever travel to egypt. also the egyptian pavilion at the expo is really nice! Must visit!

Josh you are one of the best Airline bloggers I have seen and I really enjoy you blogs

T2 was an outdated terminal (along with even worse T1) which went into renovation around the time T3 was inaugurated about a decade ago. Pre-renovation, T2 was considered as the terminal for "luxury airlines" as most European/Gulf carriers used it, where as worn-out T1 was for many African carriers including their own EgyptAir (funny the national airline being placed in the worse terminal). Pre-T3, T2 was still a decent terminal as there were boarding bridges unlike T1. When T3 was built, it was the most un-Egyptian thing as it was much more organized, free from the total madness and chaos of T1 :-)

I’m really impressed how open the cabin manager was on feedback. It’s always great when airlines take the feedback instead of punishing the paying customer for the feedback. Even if they don’t make the changes immediately, taking in the feedback nicely makes the passenger feel appreciated. Great review like always

Glad to see Egyptair is trying to improve. I used to fly with them regularly and I stopped doing so in 2013 after few bad experiences

Please review it again in 12 months time . Egypt Air cabins get ruined quickly and can’t be bothered to keep them nice . I’ve flown Bangkok to Cairo / Bangkok many times and it’s always hit and miss . My Egyptian friend says crew are not contracted so they don’t care and have no fear of losing their jobs . So many have the attitude . The male crew are always nicer I’ve found .

Hi Josh! I am Egyptian and I went to Egypt for the summer from the uk and I am too very surprised I went on one flight econamy and one business and bothe were amazing I went both flights 787 and the aircraft was amazingly clean which I did not expect and crew were sooo kind and amazing the food was an Egyptian traditional and tasted amazing the inflight entertainment had all of my favourite movies Arabic and English! The emenity kit had lots of amazing products and the toilet was clean and an average size thank you for reading my comment if you did Josh!

I was surprised in a good way to see how such airlines (i.e. Egypt Air here, Royal Air Maroc in another video) that are usually underestimated, are raising the bars in a race where we know who's dominant, and trying to showcase their best!

Watched this weeks reviews with extra interest since I just returned from a trip to Berlin. You looked so calm in the airport! We found long lines, lots of paperwork, missed flights. Did fly economy on United Dreamliner (loved it) and a Lufthansa 747 on the way home. My amenity kit was what I stuffed in my backpack! Love your videos!

Even with the new model aircraft, amenities and tasty food that EA has upgraded with, I would rather fly with an airline that is outdated, but with a hospitable and welcoming service from the cabin crew. For me, service always comes first. If I were in your place, I would rage out to the cabin crew who treated me subpar, as soon as the plane lands and pin point his/her incapabilities.

I flew Business Class on Egypt Air a few years ago on a return trip between Mumbai and JFK. Through your vlog, I can see a great improvement in their product offering.

dreamliners are the best. very quite. new planes. and you always feel fresh and not tired compared with other planes.

I have flown Egyptair (in economy) between the US and West Africa. It was a pretty normal economy experience. I agree with you about the airport at Cairo though; it does give off a "vibe" of some sort. Great report! I hope to try out Egyptair's business class soon.

Hey Josh...lovely to see a greatly improved MS product...very encouraging to fly, even with a grumpy(ish) crew...there is a huge difference in crew training and attitude between the Far East cabin crews and some of the Middle East ones.
