I had an amazing time when Egyptian Lover played at the Totally 80s Bar n' Grill in Fullerton a few years ago! We were all rocking it. I was dressed like LL Cool J with a red Kango hat and my peeps as Run DMC suits! The ladies were all fly in their 80s aerobics costumes 😁😎

I've seen the crowds at shows for major DJs who are just standing and watching or recording w/ the phones... this crowd is much more into the music. Probably just a matter of different cultures, where we didn't have technology overload and actually enjoyed the music - versus today's culture.

My first show ever was Egyptian Lover in San Jose with Ice-T opening up for him. I was about 14 and I got to meet Ice-T the next day at Star Records on the east side. Good f’n times! Wish I were there to celebrate 60 with you and the freaks! 🤘🏼🇪🇬❤️
