To collect the parasite, you use the same collector for the poop, That’s why it’s outlined in yellow. Also the animals don’t have to be asleep, just wait until they stop moving or aren’t in an animation.
It seems like it still takes awhile for them to stop moving though. Looking back at the penguin exhibit, it seemed like they were toddling around for several minutes at a time.
The wallabies are always sick, you didn't mess anything up. Also the blood taking works like petting - if they're stationary (green icon) you can do it. Just a little tip to not waste time with tranqs. The parasites are extracted with the shit sucker. You CAN cure the mutated animals with a different tonic. It's harder to make but feeding the mutant so it calms down protects the other animals in the meantime while you prepare it. I haven't finished the vid yet cuz I need to take a break so apologies if you figure any of that out later. Loving the playthrough! Edit: Oh, and... need a hand? I hear the ones they grind are quite... handy.
Okay, I delved pretty deep into this game and have some spoiler free tips ;) - This game has MANY endings. Some are good, and some are bad, as you have already seen in pt 1 :) - You don't necessarily NEED to use lethal injections. If you are able to determine the ailment of the other animals, you can use the experimental medications. On this note if the mutation has been fed a meal this only takes 1 injection of the experimental medication - if it has not been fed a meal (still in mutation) it will take all three injections! - If you donate blood, it completely depletes what is in your inventory. You are still able to draw blood from animals after you first draw. - The infected meal prep is extremely handy. If you use this the mutation will calm down, changing it back for a time. Gives you enough time to draw blood to create antidote. - Without spoilers, some characters in this game you are able to interact more with. - Animals can see when you aim down at them. If you shoot at the 🍑 then they are less likely to run off (doesn't count for mutations) Hope this helps a little bit! Glad to see you posting the game John :)
For the record, this is not because I think John is incapable of figuring out the game. The game just doesn't give you all the details that you need to "save the animals."
you make it sound so easy lol if they're diseased, they sprint away from you as soon as you get close because they're "scared". maybe there's a strategy for it, but I haven't seen an opportunity to stick them outside of when they're sleeping
@@DeadZer0-y8l i think it loosely hints to what your supposed to do by diagnosing what vaccine the mutant animal needs and making the vaccine but very looooooosely
pretty sure the voices are AI, all things considered. also a 25$ pricetag on this product where every animal has the same "walk around and throw up sometimes" schedule, seems a bit pricy
Wow, the transitions in this game are crazy. 😅I can't believe it ends so abruptly, regardless of whatever triggered the ending (and then being hit with an r.i.p. message on top of that)! I understand the game might be in beta mode, but someone really should have reviewed the flow of the game a little more before they published this. The premise is neat, but the narrative is coming off as so choppy and messes with the immersion.
So, this game was heavily bashed at launch. Namely the trailers features pre rendered cutscenes and moments not found in the game, which people deemed misleading since they looked much better than what the actual game has to offer Combined with people finding the length much too short, mediocre animations, and the gameplay being repetitive, it got a lot of negative reviews.
I enjoy watching you puzzle out the game. In a way I think it’s good the game is a little inscrutable on the surface. Encourages people to play themselves!
The severed hand can be use for the scanner and its optional to kill the girl. This will really give you different endings and it slightly change the gameplay but you still have to take care of the animals. Its also optional to feed the infected animals meat.
There is apparently a more docile type of Hippo. Like Moo, the baby pygmy that went viral, because I was wondering why the mom didn't seem aggressive at all
"Docile" is probably not the right term to describe pygmies. They are less territorial than other hippos, and therefore not _as_ aggressive in terms of how they approach you. But they're also super shy and solitary compared to other hippos, so they will be just as hostile as other hippos if you get too close or they feel generally uncomfortable with seeing you at all. Moo's mom is probably used to the zookeepers and being in public, and that might be why she doesn't attack. She's been somewhat domesticated/socialized due to her surroundings.
@@samwisegamgee1243 maybe I should have said more peaceful or less aggressive then. I guess docile stuck with me because that's what I read in the comments of the Moo video asking why the mom is so chill
This video definitely had many twists and turns. The ending got me very surprised. Then the added potion at the end was a nice touch. I feel like the game has potential but I personally don't like the games that don't save any progress from before. Maybe it will start making sense in the next video.
@@reklov6638 Yeah I think I read that it's 23, though people said the variations between them are often as small as just a sentence or two that is different.
This game's endings are sort of like The Mortuary Assistant endings, where you get different endings with more completed playthroughs. So far loving the content, thanks for your work!! Oh, and the reason why you keep getting sick despite not getting hit is because in the beginning cutscene Doc infects you with the parasite.
