I saw there are extremist hindus group doing sacrifices either it is animals or humans, hindus only worship icons of what they presume to be the one true god but in the end none of their act of worship is dedicated to him. You shouldn't worry about animals being sacrified for needy and poor people, god doesn't need our sacrifice but we do it to please him by giving away a huge part of it to the needy people. Obviously most hindu festival are peaceful i believe, but i also noticed some very evil ones, as certain group of hindus worship the devil and claim that they have to do all type of evil stuff to get closer to god. Correct me if i'm wrong.
