I am a reverted Muslima from Poland who has travelled and lived in most of the European and American countries, I can say that Muslims in China are much safer and have more freedom than Muslims in the west.... And lots of Eid Mubarak to all Muslims
In China, you can believe in any religion, and the government will guarantee your rights. However, it is important to be clear that you cannot criticize those who do not believe in you, nor can you interfere with the country and social order.
Its great to see people from different cultures, from different countries, come together, regardless of how far they are from home, to celebrate the same religious festival with each other. Happy New Year and peace to all peoples.
Welcome but just for information it is not a new year for Muslim it is a festival after the completion of holy month Ramadan . It is a gift for us after fasting for 29 or 30 days . It is a 3 day event and in all Muslims countries it is the major holiday. Islamic new year start after nearly 3 months according to lunar calendar. After this event we get the next Eid in the last month of lunar calendar on the date of 10 of Zilhajj ( the last month name).
Eid Al-Fitr is a celebrating day after finished fasting full 1 month. It's consider holiday in Muslim Majority country or country who have significant Muslim population like India. Even some city in the West like New York consider as school holiday.

So, whether you work there or just visiting, keep in mind that it’s best to steer clear of discussions about their national systems, especially since it doesn’t concern you. All in all, if you show them kindness, expect it to be returned tenfold. Here’s to hoping that everyone visiting China has an amazing time!

Eid Mubarak. Breakfast mein khichdi qeema. Then eid ki namaz and then sheer qorma. Lunch mei Hyderabadi dum biryani. Sheer qorma chalte rehta jaha milne gaye waha.
