This was super helpful, really appreciated this side by side. Good job USG! One always hopes a creators' vision is brought to life the way they envision it. Love the larger size for capturing all the lovely details, and love the numbers on the bottom of the card, I may not trim this one...

Thank you for showing them side by side! I have been on and off with this deck, first (before U.S games took it on) I wanted it but the more I then saw it, the less I felt needing it :D The U.S Games one looks like more vibrant color-wise.. I still am not sure with some of the cards but it sure does have an unique vibe to it =)
It's a rare case where I like the mass market version more than the indie version..... I wonder why, probably the color. The indie color is not too vibrant but indeed has its personality.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I have followed this deck since Lana created like the first few cards and showed them on Instagram. But the unfinished cards and high shipping cost made me not order it when she finally released it independently. I am sooo excited getting the US Games version next month. I love their decks quality. Talk about waiting a long time for a deck. ;)
Thanks for this, Lisa. I’ve got the original a few years ago which I promptly trimmed. The four replacement cards are reason enough to buy the USG edition. The color appears more saturated in the new version as well. If I used this more I’d buy it in a heartbeat. We’ll see.
Dance of the Soul Tarot Rose! Hi! I’d love to see how your trimming turned out. I’m very drawn to this deck, I must confess. Some of the cards are really smart and beautiful, and Lana’s story (which she lays out in the new companion book) is really compelling, too. So we’ll see whether not having the smudging issue gets me using it more.... (Meanwhile: hey, it looks like you sorted out your YT uploading issues?? Yay!)
