I worked for 3 months at the Port of Eilat in the early 70s when the Suez Canal was still closed. Didn't love my time there because the job was so horrible. Loading and unloading ships in 100 degree weather. (EDIT, ADDED LATER: But the town of Eilat was very nice. Of course, it wasn't nearly as developed as is shown in this video).
Eilat ...disana aku pernah menginap samgat bagus sekali...pemandangan alamnya ...hotelnya juga bersih dg view laut d pantai ...bikin aku ingin ke israel kembali ...
2nd COMMENT from me about working in the Port of Eilat in the early 70s. Because the Suez Canal was closed at that time (it's open now), ships from Asia and Australia would come to Eilat, where the goods and merchandise would be loaded onto trucks which transported them up to the Mediterranean. Then these goods would be transported to Europe from Israel. Some of the goods, especially building and agricultural materials, would of course stay in Israel.
Baruch Hashem blessed is the land of the Lord King of the Israel and king of the world thanks you very much may friend for this wonderful video the I love it Shavou tov chaverim from Florida USA
I have only been to Eilat 6 years ago and it was at night. This is my first time "walking" around the city in the day time. I can't wait to visit it next year.
