Staniosis is a decent fighter but he doesn't move his head, and you never really have to go looking for him in the ring, he stays in front you with a high guard. I'm not sure if that style would fare against better opposition
@@jeffostrander2082 exactly. He and Vergil Ortiz are very similar in terms of styles but the difference I think is Ortiz is the physically stronger fighter. I see him stopping Staniosis late rounds.
I like Stanionis. I think he gives Ortiz and Ennis a run for their money but I’m not sure he’ll withstand their speed and power because both are much faster than him and hit harder. I think Ennis’ movement and pop shots will cause problems for Stanionis and Ortizs’ high stamina and overwhelming pressure will crack Stanionis. Who knows though. Maybe an upset will happen. I love me a good upset. Upsets rattle divisions because it changes everyone’s plans.
Kavaliauskas almost KO'ed Ortiz, but yes, the stamina made huge difference in that fight, Stanionis on the other hand have an incredible stamina also, moreover he for sure have a chance to KO Ortiz, i know that Stanionis will be an underdog, but if i had to bet all my money, i would choose Stanionis :)

Learn how to read better before telling someone to learn boxing. Re-read and highlight where I said he doesn’t have any power. Overall it’s all predictions and guessing. Vergil and Stanionis may be facing each other. I don’t have an issue with upsets because I don’t favor fighters. I simply believe Vergil and Ennis are better than Stanionis. If they lose then they lose.

High guard and no switching away from it. Easy pickings for guys like Boots. Before this I had Stanionis beating Vergil but after I'm going with Vergil by knockout in the first half of the fight.
His style is very similar to Lipinets. Proof that he’d get murdered by Boots. Another punching bag. Vergil is similar too. They don’t want no smoke with Jaron.
Stanonis is your typical well conditioned brawler who doesn't slip or dodge punches. Somebody like Boots Ennis will make a meal out of him. Please don't get excited. Stanonis will have a very short career with his style of boxing.
None of us knows what boots or Virgil or whoever will do until they fight 🤷🏽♂️. I'm a Tyson fan and nobody could have convinced me that buster Douglas would have won, and I'm 62
The difference between vergil and tyson is that vergil is probably one of the most discipline boxer as to Tyson was already enjoying millions drugs alcohol and women vergil and boots are very hungry they haven't got to the top yet big difference to time tyson fought Douglas.

The way they stood in front of each other and kept landing, if Stanionis had real power , Butaev would've gotten ko'd, just because they stand in front back and forth, good technique but boring, if Stanionis pulls that on Vergil , he's getting knocked out. Stanionis has 9 kos /15 fights. Not good against Vergil. He's going to lose 100%. All Vergil does is go for the kill.
