No idea, I never downloaded any maps. I just used the maps that were already there.

Just wondering how solid is Eincar . How well does the GPS work? It seems like people are afraid for some reason to give a critique of this brand of radio. Have you had any skipping issues with the CD/DVD?

The GPS seemed to work fine while I had it, though it would give warnings that I was going to fast on some roads due to their speed limit being out of date with the actual speed limit of the roads. I couldn't figure out how to turn that off.

Sorry, I don't know how to turn off the rotating colors. I'm not sure that's even possible.

I'm not expert but the first thing I'd check would be the fuse. Second thing would be a loose wire. Otherwise, maybe the unit is just dead.

Video freezing sounds like a bigger issue than the minor audio glitch I used to experience with this stereo. Have you tried contacting the company, EinCar?

Eincar, I believe they have 3 models all three have different features , the 2 expensive one the one I have has all features accept it don't come with camera back up , the actual camera itself .
