I show you how to change the blade on the Einhell TC-SB 200/1 bandsaw and then tell you if you should buy one. #einhell #bandsaw #carpentry #woodworking
I still think there is 2 issues at play: The table top bandsaw is just 250w and might stuggle with rip cuts. The new blade is more of a cure cutting one than ripping. You could try a 1400x6.35 4TPI blade. 🤔 I have a 750w Einhell with a 3 TIP blade for rips, still I go slow to avoid stalling or drifting.
Jup, life is a learning curve. And of all saws (I own about thirteen), it's by far the trickiest to get cutting good. But when it does its job well, its unbeatable. I cut some 17cm thick pine in half to small speaker stands. Out of the thirteen saws, only maybe a handsaw could have made that cut... 😁
I can confirm that this machine is not appropriate for long straight cuts. I've set the guides to be close as possible to the blade, and applied a fair amount of tension, so it's really straight, however it still deviates during the cut. It works ok for pieces about 10 cm, but bigger than that it's impossible. NOTA: I'm using the blade that came with the machine and I have not tried other
well mate if you were not able to adjust its direction, blad-play within grips, it does not mean its a piece of crap? did it occur to you that your skills are probably crap?
