If the original Einsamkeit with only Germany singing is mostly about how lonely he feels after Prussia's dissolution, this duet might be about them singing about how lonely they feel in their sides of the Berlin Wall (help im crying ;-;)
Not only is this song awesome but it says something. Yes germans tend to be strong and gruff at times but they have a tender, kind heart and when others ridicule them or call them names, they get hurt. So what prussia and germany are saying is that no one truly understand them and they are lonely in that way.
+Berlin Bowers dies of feels because of this comment, i could see Germany locking himself up in his room and silently crying because he didnt want anyone else to know that he has a tender heart. . . (SOBS IN CORNER)
Ikr? I never saw this song as Germany's alone. I always saw both of them singing together, or Prussia use to sing in German, and he would somewhat rant to Ludwig, and he would almost cry while singing because he knew he didn't reach the expectations everyone set and baby Ludwig would have to cheer up his big bruder.
Hm...correct me if I'm wrong, but Germany (and Prussia) normally use ore. Switching to boku (2:31) could mean letting go of their outer mask of confidence and showing their inner loneliness...
I always think of this song as Germany's relations with the world during and after WW2, especially with the tense relashionship with his brother and the wall. and with the duet both of them are intensifying that image. it's so sad but beautiful😭😂😭😭😭😭😭
man I have been listening to this song on repeat for a while now. The more I listen to it the more the meaning gets deeper and more sad. God this song has such a real deep meaning for how people can feel when there separated and or missing the ones they love that have passed or there not aloud to see. God this song is beautiful and I am sad now
They are good singers to tell the truth... Once America listened to it he cried which was weird Now the North American brothers have the feels for the German brothers
I'm sorry sir and or madam it seems that I have slipped up and wrote this on the wrong comment, but hey since I'm already here do you know if it is or not
Different from the stereotypes I always believe that Germans are romanticists and dreamers. The Faustian soul coexists in a paradoxical way with their hard-working, solemn appearance. *a Capricorn shows understanding*
This song.... It hurts.... It makes me want to cry. Cry harder than China and Russia's saddest songs... The song somehow brings out my sadness and makes me cry to get rid of it. It's a wonderful yet sad feeling and experience
AMERICA AND ENGLAND ARE NOT BROTHERS - England was just his caretaker. Just as Spain was Romano's caretaker. They're not actual brothers but during the time that they were being raised it felt like they had a brotherly connection that grew past the sense of sibling-ship and into something that could be more. They do live forever after all so it's not strange to have these parings. Besides they're not real anyway.
((In all technicalities... they are all brothers.... and Spain was Romano's boss. So any pairing is incestuous. And also... why do people pair em? Well cuz its freaking awesome. You just dont see the awesomeness...))
