I "accidentally" discovered the song "The Voidchaser" and since then I have never stopped listening to it. To find information about the band or maybe the person (who knows! let me know more about it!) who created this masterpiece is really impossible, so I can only write here my most sincere congratulations about this wonderful work. I’m a metal singer from Italy, this genre is the one that most represents me, I love listening to genres exactly like this, and this album is incredible. how I would love to be the voice of beautiful songs like these! I listen to this album very very often, I have no words to describe how my soul feels listening to it. Thank you so much for creating this. I'll be honest: "The Voidchaser" is one of my favorite songs ever🙏🖤
Thank you so much, it is just a shame, it is widely overlooked. Due to the political shit that happened and still happens, distribution and exposure is quite hard...but there is still hope and I (the main force behind Eirð) am about to create new songs.
Epic record. Even with the speed up 1.5x its sludgy slow as a snail on sunday morning. The spirit of Bathory flows over the waste lands of Scandinavia..
Loving this. It reminds me of parts of some great Doom Death bands. The female vocals with the clean male vocals instead of constant full on growls takes it to another level. This is possibly the best release i have heard on Solitude Productions.
I have to say I find the cover beautiful, compelling, and enticing. That alone drew me in. The music? In a class of its own! Completely original. To try to place it in any subgenre ŵould almost be insulting. Powerful and enigmatic, like the cover, it entices and calls me to a journey thru mind and cosmos both smooth and chaotic. Also, a profound darkness pulls me also. I thrive on darkness so it calls, I go. Original, I cant and dont care to classify this music. I WANT and it calls me to go, and thats all I need to know! Masterpiece!
I am litterally stunned by all these kind words given to my musical creation, which is indeed my lifeblood, especially this album, the creation of it, guided me through VERY difficult and troubled times. Belive me, the background story of this and it's predecessor is much longer, than I ever could express in any language known to mankind. I can only bow my head in gratitude to this overwhelming reception of my art...and be thankful in all modesty to those who helped making this possible. Kindest regards, felt with the bliss given by the darkest depths of the universal soul. Andreas (Eirð)
As the artist , I can say, this is close to my intention...creating a dark soundtrack full of "zombiestar" and black hole vibes ;-)...Apart from this: I can't deny, that artists like Ennio Morricone or the band Goblin had an impact on me as a musician.
Thank you so much, though I must say, I don't think in suitcases and do not consider my metal as being "black" even if I might be influenced by the more avantgarde bands from the 90ies like In The Woods, Beyond Dawn, The 3rd And The Mortal, black metal like Blut Aus Nord as well as classic composers such as Grieg, Beethoven plus with some early "Post Punk" and ethereal gothic (like mentioned) AND I prefer a more "stardust"- sound instead of classic stonerlike muffle mostly common these days.
