This update was very much a victory lap for the developers after the success of Tokyo game show, but they do share some of their experiences with the show as well as reiterate their desire to make this game into a franchise if it is successful.
I also added some more War Combat footage to the beginning of the video incase some of you haven't seen it yet.

Hoping soo much this becomes a franchise and if lucky this and Suikoden do great enough to keep going. These series over 2 decades after playing it I still think about it all the time. I want me freaking cake and to eat it for a change.

The Only Sad at the Release of Eiyuden chronicle, is no more Updatevideos from Gamebreak😢 Thanks for the new Battlescenes❤ i ordered the Digital deluxe Edition . Many Stuff , DLCs and 48 Hours early Acces for 79.90 Euro..take my money

I actually don't want to see more characters sneap peeks anymore. I am actually interested in seeing gameplay mechanics and minigames sneak peeks in the future(despite not really being a minigame-focused person).

I'm glad I haven't really looked much at all the characters, and at the least, we still don't really know anything about them besides the basic stuff. Though yeah I agree please more gameplay stuff

Early access is also gonna be available for backers. Actually, we sbould have even more time of EA. Soon we'll have an update with all the info for us.

i bought the game as soon as they sold it on yetee to support rabbit and bear. Also would buy the deluxe edition but can't because, well, yetee won't offer an upscale option. for now? Anyways, will upgrade the game when it gets out then. Any yay! army battles just like i thought they would be!

I backed it back then but I didn't back for much money other than a few dollars. Though when it went up on Steam to pre purchase a little while ago I bought it instantly lol

Please do NOT consult westerners on our sensibilities. That's exactly why our entertainment is so bland and boring here, and Japanese work is such a beloved and refreshing difference... because authors write about what excites them instead of devolving everything into societally acceptable checklists. Ok, with that out of the way - I'm not surprised, but very pleased to hear confirmation that they are looking at a long-term franchise! Hopefully it will deliver the epic conclusion I always hoped Suikoden would get to.

I have never seen anything in regards to it, but I would love it if Murayama talked about where he saw the Suikoden series potentially going if he had saw it to it’s conclusion.

@@gamebreak6395 Yeah! That was mostly in my imagination... something like a grand showdown in Harmonia between all True Runes and wielders. Since they conveyed immortality if I recall right, that almost seemed inevitable rather than possible. S3 hinted at future possibilities, but sadly everything after was a prequel or sidequel that didn't advance the overall plot. But in my imagination that would've been totally awesome... maybe even with more than 2 factions.
