Recorded during Lockdown 2020. I tried this beautiful Night Raga with a slightly unique approach for Bansuri. Hope you like it. :) www.ashwinsrinivasan.com ashwinflutesch... ashwinflute ashwinflute / ashwinflute
This is one of my favourite raag and the first time i listened this raag was from none other than pt. Rajendra prasanna ji, and after hearing panditji's performance I Totally fell in love with this raag.
Guru ji ko pranam. Mera ek prashn hai. Kisi ne mujhe kaha ki jo log gaate hain. Unhe flute nhi bajana chahiye. Iss baat me kuch sachai hai? Kripya aap batayen mujhe. Dhanyawad.
This amazing Prabhu, I am listening this 4th or 5th time...but still feel the same.... almost divine sound.... Aapko Shri RadhaAshtami ki Hardik shubhkamnaye...please dedicate one performance for Srimati Radharani...the cause behind this beautiful instrument.... Hare Krishna
Apki tareef m likhna has always been like sooraj ko diya dikhaana.. Everything about this video was phenomenal. Kehte hain kisi b kaam ko krne k liye hath pair marne padte hain, pr bansuri p hath k sath pair k use , i mean playing of mandra ma was exceptional. The volume control exhibited in this video especially is of another level. Sir love you so much..keep inspiring us
At your Best element....heard totally a fresh n new dimension to this Raga. Must hv invested gr8 thought 4 pretty long time. A best blend of pathos👍👌💐 thanks... Little Bro
I again fell in love with you🙏 Bohut meetha. The purity of it mixed with the emotions. So balanced and clean. I could picture a child lying on a mother's lap sitting on a big traditional wooden swing ek aangan mei💕 Thank you so much for this
i listened it during mid day and at the end saw your description of night raga. All they way i was feeling like it had a feel of lullaby without knowing it was night raaga...beautifully played. What is the slightly unique approach here?
I really hope you play the famous Jhonjhoti Thumri by Ustad Abdul Karim Khan. I was hoping for it to be played at the end of the video, actually. प्रशंशा करने कि क्षमता तक कि संगित कि समझ अभी मुझमे नहीँ हैँ। क्षमा करेँ। परन्तु सुनकर बहुत अच्छा लगा।
beautiful rendering but one honest observation....in aalaap a bit too much embellishment which corrupts the raga , probably as a result of undue nyas on certain swars.Actually the best example to explain it is salt in food..na ziyada na kam....otherwise your playing is flawless.🌺🌺🌺🌺👌👌👌👌
Thanks. I have grown up listening to artists like Pt. Kumar Gandharva, Pt. Omkarnath Thakur, Pt. DV Paluskar, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi ji etc. All of them exceptionally high in the emotional quotient in their music. My playing and expressionism doesn’t depend on whether the nyas is due or undue. Or as to how much embellishment is too much. Your Salt analogy cannot be applied here. On the contrary this is more similar to the adage ‘beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder’. So your taste in listening will decide whether or not you like what’s being played. I truly believe that music has ALWAYS been about emotion and expression. Unfortunately today’s generation has been under the impression that Music is all about display of skills and gimmicks. Like circus. So those who are constantly exposed to that will feel that my playing has ‘undue’ and ‘unnecessary’ emotional pillage. :)
you are clearly offended by my observation 😊.I think you are mistaken me to be belonging to the present generation clueless about Raga vidhya and padhyati. The salt analogy was in the context of doing something excessively. I do not wish to lecture you on Hindustani classical music nor pedantize about my knowledge of it , 😊 but the fact remains that Every raga is distinguished by it’s chalan, uchharan bhed, nyas swara etc . And excessive nyas though part of an artist’s expression can lead to its ‘विकृतिकरण’ that was the limited point . Can we leave it at that 😊🙏🌻🌻🌻
I fully agree with your explanation here. Then I guess it is a matter of perception as to where the line has to be drawn vis a vis embellishment here. I am not offended at all. I wanted to put my point forward. That’s it. 😇 I truly hope I haven’t vikrutified the Raga here as much as your first comment here suggests. :):)
😂😂 arre nahin bandhuwar the vikratikaran remark is general and discussion is academic from a puritanical standpoint 😊. Baaqi “ Ahlal-e-razaa mein shaan-E-baghaawat bhi ho zara, itni bhi zindagi na ho paband e rasmiyaat “
@@Manishflute761 may be.... according to me it was little low respect to the flute sound.... but it's ok.... I only shared my view.... may be i am wrong😇😇
