They say that no man is an island. Man has evolved over the years to become a social being. It is together that we thrive. Connections with other people form the basis of our identities and our mental health . In today's world loneliness has become so prevalent that it is an epidemic of sorts, but a shrouded one.
To stand in a room full of people and still feel utterly alone, to feel unheard to the point that you simply do not wish to talk anymore, to hold so much pain inside for fear of how people will react if they know. This is what we call social disconnect. In this age of constantly depreciating self worth, we want to say that each and every person deserves to be heard and understood.
