Sorry, Rude Boi, but you're missing the real message. You see, El is God's vessel to whom he gave this very song for a day such as this to reach the lost. I believe that El may have been unconsciously thinking about/to God when he wrote this song but romanticized the lyric for recording commercial purposes. And, whether he did or not, God has decided that this very song would be used for his purposes today. You see, Rude Boi, the church (body of Christ) is filled with lukewarm Christian worship leaders who really want to be R&B singers using the platform of the pulpit to fulfill their worldly agenda. You see, not only do they bring great instruments to the pulpit, but often they bring with them ungodly attitudes that is more a deterrent for winning souls and ministering. It just so happens El IS a performer/entertainer. He's been given a gift to reach people - the lost. So, brother, don't miss the real blessing of his message. El is winning souls. It's very clear to me. There are THOUSANDS/MILLIONS of people crying out to be free from the prison of drugs, overeating, unforgiveness, etc. For many, El may be the only BIBLE some of these people will ever see or hear evidence of the presence of God in our lives. So, yes, all this love (His love...God's love) is waiting for you...for me. It's there for the asking. This performance (ministry) has single-handedly restored my faith. It broke a season of mild sadness (grief) for me...in pretty much the same way that a fever breaks. Seeing him and hearing his testimony and seeing how God is restoring everything that the devil tried to steal from him. El has never said he was perfect. In fact, he knows he isn't - that he's nothing without God. I love that his past trials have given him the courage to proclaim God's love publicly. So, don't miss the real blessing or message. It's easy to hop around the stage and say, "Hallelujah" when you have not suffered. But it's another level when God allows you to sit in the flames without as much as a hint of soot getting on you, brings you through the fire, and raises you up and you can still find praise in your pain. I'm praying for El that the presence of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit will continue to protect him. And, I thank God for the Pastor for having the courage and wisdom to open his pulpit to El. Happy Resurrection Day. To God be the glory. He's alive!!!

The Bible makes it clear not to have fellowship with darkness, especially in the church, and that there should be a difference between the church and world. This is secular music in the church.. Valentines Day is a pagan holiday in the church. This has to be called out, like the LORD Jesus called the heathen out of their ways to Repent and follow Him. This is Bible, and not my opinion.

True. But there again, don't mistake the architectural designed BUILDING we call a church with the BODY of CHRIST...THE CHURCH. Jesus did all of his ministering and saving souls while he was out and about among the people - in the midst of the people. He never had a building (four walls). And mind you, He (Jesus) didn't look anything like what the Israelites thought he would look like because He came a carpenter on a lowly donkey...He did look 'different.' He didn't look anything like the world had pictured him. That's why many missed out on seeing Jesus when He (Jesus) was right in their presence. That's exactly why you can have people in church today (the building) dressed to the nine and they still miss Jesus - in spite of being in the building with all of the persona of what church looks like and missing the point. That's why whether we are in a traditional church (building) or watching a video of someone's ministry, pray first for a discerning spirit to know what you are watching and to see and recognized the Holy Spirit and the presence of God.
