The Cocora Valley is, without a doubt, one of the must-see stops for anyone visiting Colombia. Cocora is known for being home to the tallest palm trees in the world, the so-called wax palms, considered Colombia's national tree. They can reach heights of up to 60 meters and only grow to the astonishing heights of between 1,500 and 3,000 meters above sea level.
