En el último día de mi Viaje 2023 visité el Museo Olímpico en la ciudad de Lausanne, Suiza. El mueso es una gran experiencia. Te lleva por la historia antigua y moderna de los Juegos, incluyendo ver equipos, uniformes, zapatos deportivos de muchos atletas de distintos tiempos y países. El deporte es drama, es historias de superación, valentía, y arrojo, como pocas en estos tiemposñ pero también es ese escenario en donde personas que se supone fueran enemigas encontraron respeto unos por otros. Y todo eso lo puedes experimentar en este fascinante, y hasta, interactivo museo.
Visité además, aunque muy brevemente, la ciudad de Ginebra, en donde caminé por sus calles y admiré su arquitectura. POr último, regresé a Nyon para pasar mi última noche antes de emprender el regreso a mi país, Puerto Rico, a miles de millas de distancia.
On the last day of my 2023 Trip I visited the Olympic Museum in the city of Lausanne, Switzerland. The museum is a great experience. It takes you through the ancient and modern history of the Games, including seeing the equipment, uniforms, sports shoes of many athletes from different times and countries. Sport is drama, it is stories of overcoming, bravery, and courage like few others in these times, but it is also that scenario where people who were supposed to be enemies found respect for each other. And you can experience all of that in this fascinating, and interactive, museum.
I also visited, although very briefly, the city of Geneva, where I walked through its streets and admired its architecture. Finally, I returned to Nyon to spend my last night before heading back to my country, Puerto Rico, thousands of miles away.
