Basquiat was a genuis (I loved his work Sabado Por la Noche) but in an exclusively "white" milieu he wouldn't 've become a celebrity without the help of Andy Warhol who introduced him to the media ..

@@Reprodestruxion Warhol definitely overrated. Basquiat less so, but still, not geniuses. People get carried away. It's probably because they were known in New York. It was mostly just hype.
