I'm glad you posted these. As someone who is not from this area at all, I am seeing many places in the first two videos with forks in the path where I am not sure which path you're supposed to be taking. All the rocks, even at the start of the trail, look very rough to walk on. I could easily break an ankle. This is a very different hiking trail to any that I have been on. I see no trail markers, no directional arrows, no rest stops, not even indicators for the start of the trail? It looks like a very rudimentary trail through a random jungle village. It looked like the young women had a paper map from photos they took, but that's still not perfect. For someone directionally challenged like myself, they could have easily gotten turned around or took a wrong path, and got lost. Especially being young & inexperienced with this type of hike. I wouldn't dare venture into this terrain without a guide and I am much older than they were! They could have ventured off the path in search of a beautiful view and not been able to find their way back. Are they believed to have disappeared after the Mirador? If the terrain gets more rough as I have heard, they could have fallen off the side of the path and been unable to get back. So many factors to consider. Unlike others, I do not believe there was any foul play. I think they simply got stranded and could not reach emergency services on their phones. Someone constructed a 3D photo last year from all the night photos on their camera. It's worth looking it up for those who are interested. It paints a very clear scene where they had constructed an SOS from pieces of their map, tied red plastic to a branch, and cut up a pringles can to use the metal bottom as a reflector, which are all sitting on a rock in a clearing. I believe they were using the camera flash to send a signal in hopes someone would find them, possibly after hearing a plane or helicopter overhead. It's such a tragedy and very unfortunate circumstance. It's also a stark reminder that nature is absolutely brutal and you should stick to paths when making this type of trip. You should also stay with your group or tour guide when visiting unfamiliar places, don't wander off alone or off a path.

На 16-17 менуте тропа расходится, не понятно ити на лево или прямо? Ни каких указательных знаков нету. Потом на 32 минуте видно домик или хижына. Такое впечатление что по этой тропе давно не ходили люди, по пути не встретился ни один человек. Не понятно зачем сюда пошли Крис и Лисан? Без специальной одежды и снаряжения глупо и наивно ити в такие места
I have always been a huge traveler but even in my young yrs I was always very cautious of danger but I will say someone was protecting me in some travel situations I was caught in!!!!🥴😥

Я с вами согласен. Да действительно если в таких местах оценить не правильно свои силы и возможности, и принять не правильное решение, результаты могут оказатся плачевными и даже смертельными. И этому было много подтверждений когда група людей забирались на вершыну горы: ельбрус, еверест. И за того что были приняты неправильные решения результаты были плачевными. Но несмотря на это я не согласен с официальной версией: мол они заблудились и сними случился нестчасный случай. Много несостыковок с официальной версией. Я считаю что эти девушки Крис и Лисан умерли не от нестчасного случая как это говорит официальное раследования. Я считаю что тут было совершено убийство. Этих милых девушек убили месные люды которые там живут

Looking at this absolutely lonely isolated difficult terrain,it is hard to believe these two young inexperienced travellers treked this aloneFeliciano the guide surely would have caught up with them,done the damage alone or with his son and his friends,then quietly returned back to town went to the host house the following day pretending to check why the girls had not kept the appointment they made with him.This is the way criminals build up their aliby.The fact that he got into the girls room stayed in it for hours searching the contents of the eoom seriously implicates him trying to destroy any evidence that may be there to show the girls really went on the trek with him Also it would be the way to demolish DNA evidence by removing their hair brushes,shoes,and other personal items which would be used for DNA matching in a suspected murder.What a pity these aspects have bee n ignored by the law enforcers,
Sin duda, al video le fue quitado el audio, o no se grabo. Por lo que escuchamos como canto de pájaros, es una grabación, superpuesta. Nose porque le borro el sonido original. ¿sería porque no hablaba? o porque hablaba boludeces. Que hacia una casa en medio de la jungla. De igual modo, no creo que las chicas hubieran caminado por ahí.
it doesn't look like a path where 2 girls should walk alone! you can't compare the paths to european paths! They are all safe here and a lot of signs, you can't go wrong normally! That was probably their mistake, they underestimate the difference to the jungle and the european woods.
People from european countries are used to hiking, this trail is far from difficult. Go watch videos of hiking trails in the swiss or Italian Alps, Greece, Poland or Romania.
@@quiCksilvieZzz I'm from Belgium right next to Netherlands where these girls came from. I can tell you Netherlands is nothing like the countries you named. Of course there are woods but it is not at all in any way comparable to a trail and jungle like this. I can absolutely see them 2 girls being inexperienced and thinking ooh we can go on bit further and getting lost making wrong decisions. Unless you are a really experienced hiker you shouldn't go into terrain like this without a guide. I mean i'm stubborn i'd probably do it but i shouldn't. I know a few people from the netherlands myself and they would absolutely be ignorant enough to continue on and making mistakes. Living and growing up there, there is no trails or terrain that could prepare you for this
On se croirait dans une forêt française ... je me souviens avoir été étonnée la première fois que j'ai vu des photos de l'endroit. C'est après le Mirador que ça devient vraiment difficile et je crois qu'elles n'auraient jamais pris ce nouveau sentier de leur plein gré. Elles n'étaient pas equipées et Lisanne avait été malade la veille.Elles ne pouvaient pas se perdre et on les aurait vite retrouvées si elles avaient eu un accident. La seule explication plausible c'est qu'il s'est passé quelque chose au Mirador.
