He says in the beginning it's a .357 Ruger Blackhawk, although CAS shooters like this sometimes modify their guns for fanning by bending the hammers upwards and removing the iron sights.

just disassemble the gun and throw all the parts into a brass tumbler. You dont need to hire a gunsmith for an action job on a blackhawk.

@@pinkhead6857890 You have no idea what you're talking about. I've owned blackhawks And I've owned single action army race guns that you can fan as hard as you want. Those are 2 entirely separate things

@@thegeneral1100 hes talking about establishing a "record" at a drill he modified to be unique to this one instance. The purpose of standardized drills is to be able to compare times to other people and yourself over time. Setting up your own drill that nobodys ever done and then call it a record is just a weird thing to put this much effort into...

@@thegeneral1100 it would make way more sense to go after some classic cowboy action drills and get the recors at those rather than modify a very famous drill and claim a record.
