As a Pakistani and being far away from El Salvador, I don't know why but I always get goosebumps listening to this. This country has somehow a very special place in my heart and I usually know about it more than any other Pakistani. Heck, I even read about politics in El Salvador and I hope to visit someday & try pupusas :)

Yea I'm not sure why people from Mexico and people from El Salvador hate each other so much. They are both great countries and all countries are great so no need to fight or be mean one nationality is not better then another
I can never understand the hate between Mexicans & Salvadorans. We are all from Latin America and should look out for each other. I'm an indigenous Mexican and my girlfriend, who I love so dearly, is Salvadoreña of Spanish ancestry. I met her at college and we both love each other regardless of our ethnic backgrounds. Side note, this anthem is beautifully composed and great.
21specter That's valid. But I also know why Salvadorans get frustrated with us Mexicans. We (not me of course) have a messed up mentality that we are the best nation in Latin America and every other country is beneath us. And of course Mexicans tend to be extremely prideful, thus why other Latin American countries get annoyed by is valid.

My mother was born in El Salvador. My Father in Honduras. I've been to El Salvador and I loved it. It's not the US where everything is super duper nice, but It had its own charm which made it a pleasant visit for someone like me.
Half Ecuadorian and half Salvadoran but born in the US. Was able to visit last week to see my maternal grandmother and visit many places such as lake Ilopango, San Miguel, y perquin. Me gustó El Salvador. No se cuando me voy a regresar.

I'm fully salvadorian but I got these two younger half siblings and their mom is from the U.S and our dad is from El Salvador and they live in California but next year they moving to El Salvador cuz my dads mom(grandma) is living with my dads sisters kids who are 20 and 18 but they moving with their mom(my tia) so cant wait to meet them for the 1st time.
It really is. I was born in Texas and went to visit El Salvador since 99% percent of my family is from there, I really liked it. Though, I did have trouble understanding some of the sayings since here in Texas we speak cowboy.
