Josh, I dont know how much help you have had on this pond and actually everything at the Rescue but Brother i congratulate you for being a real BALL BUSTER . Your father should be very proud of you and your work ethic because I have seen you really bust your ass doing everything that needs done there at the Rescue. Big Ritch has done a good job in developing your attitude and work ethic and you yourself have been a fantastic joy to watch no matter how things come at you you tackle them with a good positive manner no matter how bleak and bad you never show it on camera

I love how much pond building is a science and almost equal parts an art. Getting the rocks just right, getting the water to flow over particular parts just right.

I strongly recommend Pickerel Weed for the wetlands. Has a great filtration roots and I believe it draws heavy metals out of the water. It's even a native that has a great purple flower.

Great work,I feel like Josh is reflecting on things and worrying about his mum. People commenting he looks depressed.If anyone in your family was in a coma your telling me it wouldn't impact you? Don't be heartless people.This project has kept there mi ds busy and that's a good coping mechanism. Josh is also very tired on top of all the hard work he's done and his weight loss for bulking up.

I tried to buy a house several years ago that had an amazing koi pond with tons of blue granite around it and I actually met the owner and he is now helping you guys bud your wetland filter. Tell the pond professor Ed, I said hello.

I've worked at the same restaurant for t years now and we have this couple that comes in every Tuesday. I was helping their serve when I was new and some how ended up thinking my name was Ben...that last three years until someone said "Matt will be your server today," I walked up and she goes "is your name matt? I've been calling you Ben for 3 years!" Aa long as I know who you're talking to idc what you call me. Lol

Big Richey it is!!! Never should have made that mention. Fantastic job guys. This year I put canna lilies in my pond just stuck them in around some rocks cut them down for the fall eight and a half feet tall it was one plantain took 7 plants out so they will multiply and multiply just put in a brown paper bag for winter storage leave it in the garage

Pickerel Weed, it's gorgeous! Ed, the smartest pond guy! I loved hearing him talk about sedges and rushes! Wetlands are such a crucial piece of the ecological puzzle! They provide millions of value a year in free air, clean water, food, fodder - wetlands are amazing!

Coming along great. A suggestion, since all of your water falls are directed away from your house, since you have the line going to the right back corner (looking from the back of the house), you could do a spillway and small water fall in the corner that would both direct the water towards the center of the pond and also direct the great waterfall sound towards the home.
