We came to Crete in two days and want to enjoy Elafonisi Beach. Thank You for this Video and absolute Breathtaking final at the End. Beautiful nature. 🫶
I stayed in Chania last September , one day visited Balos and then, in the evening, continued to the south towards Elafonisi. Somewhere in the middle there is a village in the mountains and a fantastic house which can be booked via booking- Fairytale , we spent a night there and had a home made breakfast then continued to Elafonisi, all in all it was fantastic experience . It can be maybe worth to visit those villages, where one can stay one or more days to enjoy mountains as well as beaches
This island is gorgeous! steps from a beautiful and uncontaminated sea to snow-capped peaks. It is a paradise on earth where you can take refuge from the frenzy of modernity and rediscover the serenity of a simple life in contact with nature. Crete island is the only place I would leave my roots if only I had the courage and economic stability 😅
Went yesterday Zameer and bought coffee off the man that gave you the coffee. The drive there was amazing. Windy as hell but we had the place to ourselves. Beautiful.
In Chania now… at last. Your Videos , my friend, are a great resource for us. It’s “Clean Monday “ tomorrow. Any tips for enjoying the holiday ? Paul and Juli from Australia.
If you were to charter a basic one-day trip to Elafonisi Beach from Iraklio or Chania resorts, please note that the trip feels a bit rushed... there is a lot to see and the tours (in my opinion) won't allow for a very relaxing experience. The several hours that you are allowed won't be enough for a chilled out experience. It's definitely worth visiting, even on a tight budget, but keep in mind that you need to compact a lot of sightseeing into a constrained time budget, even on the beach itself. Time flies extremely quickly at such a beautiful place, so please keep that in mind.
why don't you tell in your video how terribly overcrowded by masstourism this place gets in the summer with dozens of tourist busses loading of crowds there?! You went there probably in March and early in the morning or in the late afternoon. That's a total different place at this time. Go there and shoot your video and fly your drone in the summer and you'll see!
Heaven on earth. I don't think so. Don't you know any history? The NAZIS invaded in WWII. The Italians invaded. Lots of killing. All the wars in Greek History too. Now it is peaceful, but the war lords can change that in a short time. St. Paul, as recorded in Christian Bible passed through Crete 2000 years ago on his way to Rome. He preached the gospel there. Man is sinful and disregards God the creator all deserving of adoration. Instead mankind worships creation instead of the Creator.
