This was really good considering they had a big prop I know how hard i5 is to dance with things like that one of my dances from a couple of years ago had something like that

Way to COMPLETELY rip off Dance Precision’s “hanging on.” If you’re not going to be original, at least give the original choreographer some inspiration credit. On top of that- you used their exact same ending. This is ridiculous.
I did not see Dance Precision's "Hanging On" until after I posted our routine on RU-vid and someone made a comment noting their similarities. Although "Hanging On" is a fabulous routine it was not the inspiration for my routine "Elastic Heart." After watching "Hanging On" I of course see how the prop is almost the same however the concept, song choice, discipline of dance and meaning behind the piece are very different. This piece is extremely personal for me and based on something that was going on at our studio at the time. We also spent weeks using different things to attach the dancers such as ropes, stretch bands and finally settled on material. I think people should keep an open mind that it is very possible for two choreographers to come up with the same prop before automatically assuming a dance was copied.
