I was 16 at the time and living only a few miles away... I remember trying unsuccessfully to get a copy of Stutter when it came out but I totally missed the fact that they had played here!
Mine was Debbie Harry, circa 1978-1979, when I was 6-7 years old. But when I was at Uni in the early-mid '90s (here in the Pacific Northwestern US), I was torn between Justine or Donna, or Louise Wener... or Miki Berenyi, Emma Anderson, Toni Halliday, Björk, Shirley Manson, or Sarah Cracknell, or... Good thing it was all just inconsequential early-20s fantasy/daydreaming, otherwise I could have been in a serious world of hurt. 😆😂
A great document, but I'd suggest 9 months prior to this gig is where it began: 29 September 1992, when Donna joined and the classic line-up was complete. In the following two months, Vaseline was renamed Elastica, they'd rehearsed loads and recorded "Line Up" a year before their debut single Stutter was released. They were ahead of the game.
@@IndieThroughTheLookingGlass I don't think so... maybe not in all the video but check for example 'Annie', video and sound don't match. Anyway I guess it's not your fault, don't worry.
@@IndieThroughTheLookingGlass It's still an amazing upload, I only noticed it from Justin's vom noises and cymbals around 7:20. Still so cool to see them though!
