@@tomsmithie3917 for real. i'd say the Elbing is better than a lot of cruisers. if only matchmaker treated it like a cruiser while still giving it the benefit of no citadel i'd say it's a 9/10
Funnily enough you can actually almost turn Elbing into a torpedo boat on console. Using a specific captain, you can get the torpedo reload is down to around 60 seconds, and then you can just shit them out pretty much whenever you feel like and get quite a few random hits doing so.
I saw the title and remembered my best stats game ever was a 330k 6 kill Montana rampage. Which I lost. I got more XP than anyone on the enemy team, by miles. When the potatoes decide they need to lose, there is no way to win. You may as well fight the tide.
So surprising that the Preussen dies there. If only someone had pointed out to him that it was not a good idea. & with everything 5 players have still managed to get less Base XP.... Clearly the thinking man`s action game
by that logic all whales should have better winrates, which is not that case. Its more like this infamous quote of some WG guy, who said, that they (WG) use the mm to try to keep everybody as close to 50% (as in: pushing bad players and dragging down good players) as they can. Sadly and like so many of WGs ..hum..ballancing attemps , they only do it half assed and didnt think it through, so in the end the unicon divs and cvs get the carrots, while the solos get shat on by everybody (WG and community).
If spending money placed you with better players so you win, then your stats would be improved but so would that of the good players being grouped with you. This would create a very wide winrate discrepancy where players will tend to be either very bad (because they get stomped) or very good (because they get to stomp); less around 50% winrate. The fact there is no such thing in the game means you are factually incorrect in thinking that. Also, I got into N0KAP without spending a dime and most others haven't either so... You can easily tell it's not about spending when most of the top clans don't actually spend.
I feel this is pretty spot-on, I had another bout of playing botes lately and as soon as I stopped spending monies and gold on the game pass and other stuff the teams I got thrown on were absolutely horrendous; however as somebody said here it's done half arsed to say the least so it's really inconsistent. Also weekends are absolute hell right now.
@@trosc It's not actually true. Wether you spend money or not, matchmaker is the same. It would be very obvious if spending money affected your games because you would see stat variation between spenders and non spenders. Weekends are always hell because weekend players are far worse.
even if your team was bad and the game was a steamroll, without cvs or subs, the game was still fun for those who actually played Who would've guessed?
It's funny you mentioned "I'd torp f out of me if I was shima". That's usually how most of Elbing players die lol Edit: + most of gun dd players with smokes.
Edit #2: also most cruiserplayers with smokes die this way. It's on par with smoking up in radar range of radar ship (preferably full broadside of course)
5:41 the reason why I always reserved the 4th mouse button (right hand thumb) to manual selection of target. Lol it definitely helps and you do it with habit much faster than auto switch target. GG +300k in Elbing, that’s something for sure. 👌
This game needs a proper match making system that puts the unicums against each other. And then the potatoes like myself pitted against other potatoes.
The only way to guarantee a win is to kill all 12 enemies yourself. My dmg record was a 370k Smolensk round with 6 kills....I had 4 million potential and ran out of map to run after 16 minutes....the CV dev strikes me then...the game was so stupid...my team was unable to do anything despite me killing 5 guys alone and tanking 5 guys alone....
perfect example of how damage and kills net your the highest reward yet still don't win you the game .... sadly damage and kills are still the most rewarded actions in the game ...
fax. Sometimes I get a smart team in ranked being a dd and I almost do nothing, they dont give you enough time to get at least good damage or even a kill
Those "torps" are slower than some DDs. Even calling them torps instead of mines is a stretch. NVM to the average hands players those a hypersonic missiles.
yup, been there. Last time 5 kills 293k dmg in a Daring - loss. That is why i liked Dota2 more- you can actually carry due to the respawn system and how the different heros + items work. Tried it not that long ago for the first time since 5 years and man, Dota com has zero tollerance. You tell them at the start "plz guys be nice-havent played for 5 years, been a solid 2600 mmr player -check my profile - but reaaaally rusty. So have some patience-PLZ" and then , after u died the first time and didnt do what you should have done (true) you have 4 teammates unloading the whole potential of their tourette syndrom on you (and your family + ancestors+ country) for the rest of the match. I guess wows made me soft-not able to endure that anymore^^

CV’s are still worse than subs. Subs at least have some form of counter play, where in contrast you won’t be able to kill CV on your own even if you do spot it and are in range.
Just uninstalled the game and stated as reasons "Submarines and Aircraft Carriers made me stop playing". Still enjoy your videos and streams playing the game.

At least my ultraagressive style still gives me 66+% winrate. I don't hesitate to charge Moskva or Stalingrad on my gearing\daring\kleber, and win duel because of fires. Dds are so overpowered, I don't understand, why you are afraid of engaging. Only light cruisers and superships can deal with gunboats

Maybe if you capped D sooner, or at least when your team members asked you to do it in the chat, instead of chilling in the smoke - game could've lasted a little longer... But hey ... team play is overrated. In the world of Flamu it's all about stats shaming and damage farming.
Just because you don't like Subs doesn't mean it's not a good addition to the game cuz I actually enjoy using them the only change I would make is set the cap at 2 and not 3.
