Elden Lords is an original album inspired by the upcoming game Elden Ring. The album is heavily inspired by the gameplay trailer and the concept that it may draw from Celtic folklore and Norse mythology.
Similar to Borne in Blood, this album is based on very little information and allowed a lot of freedom and interpretation to what the soundtrack to Elden Ring could be like. Although the music does draw inspiration from the game's composer Yuka Kitamura, Elden Lords also draws from other works such as Bear McCreary's God of War, E.S. Posthumus, Howard Shore's The Lord of the Rings, Adiemus and my own work as well.

I was really fascinated with the idea of a wandering creature or beast that just goes about its natural cycle somewhere in the world. It could be looking for fresh water, stalking its prey, travelling purposefully through misty green plains and light forest...and when you wander into its proximity a song would start to play without actually showing a health bar. But as the creature becomes aware of you it may decide to flee or fight, depending on its location. Inevitably, you either fight it or you do not and the music picks up as the creature is aggravated. Then the battle becomes more intense as the music picks up before finally crescending into percussion that drives the most hectic part of the battle as one of you comes out on top.

I hope Fromsoft looks at this idea and implements it in their future projects because it's a pretty cool idea.

It has Shadow of the Colossus vibes and yes, something like that would fit in a world like Elden Ring.

kinda has a monster hunter vibe, and im all for that in such a massive world. I hope to one day see this idea in such open world games like elden ring or botw/totk, outside of monster hunter itself.

Excellent. You can really feel the peaceful wilderness exploration build into a deadly duel with something wild and fearsome. Also, is there any chance we can get translations of these song titles?
