As the title states, this was a very close encounter against the Liurnia Erdtree Avatar. Given this was me using an experimental build that I am still struggling (yet slowly) learning to properly utilize, I already thought I was going to lose this first attempt… Then I lost my wolves early on, and I REALLY thought I was screwed because even on my best builds I typically take two to three attempts to kill these guys.
My main reason for saving the footage and posting here is because I liked how the fight played out. The close calls and the destruction of the environment I couldn’t have planned better myself.
What’s really ironic is that right before this fight, I made the last-minute decision to wear the Red Crimson Hood which grants the slightest possible amount of additional HP. This is a perk I never utilize whether it’s gear with extra HP, Stamina, or FP, because I just never see the point when something else almost always serves me better in that spot. Hell, I mainly wore it for aesthetic purposes here!
And yet you can see how many times I would have died if I wasn’t wearing this hood…
