The executioner’s sword would be a lot better if the skill was separated into 2 different attacks like how swords have a stance where you choose between a quick or slow attack. A poke and sweeping attack combined in a slow action is pretty bad.

As someone who's dual wielding greatswords, it's ok. The first 2 swords are unusable, those last 2 are great but it's the same as a mage getting 1 good staff, it fills your weapon slot just like 2 str great swords fills my weapon slot.
The only thing that could make these weapon showcases better would be an input map for what moves you’re showcasing. As always awesome job and thanks for all the hard work
there are tons of videos and guides already showing how to get all of them, but there are very few videos where it's just the showcase. Also I like that this guy shows the actual moveset too

ive got the sword of night and flame. Shame there arent any legendary armaments for a pure mage/glintstone sorcery build. Be nice to have a staff with a unique ash on it
Don’t get me wrong I love Big swords but 5 out of the 9 legendary weapons being big swords is kinda disappointing. I’m not saying they’re not unique in their own right but a little more variety would’ve been nice
They all look the same... I don't like the weapons in this game. But really I'm just disappointed because I like Bloodborne and can't help but compare the weapons from there to here... There's just not as much to say about them even the Holy moonlight sword looks very basic. The least they could do for it is make two different abilities for each one instead of just one. In Bloodborne the moonlight could do so many things -_-
Yes! I know comparing this game to Bloodborne isn’t the way to go but I can’t help but notice how most of the weapons here are just bland. I literally just went with a straight sword because I couldn’t find anything interesting
@@keno5839 This video is specifically for the "legendary armaments", not for every cool weapon with a unique skill. These weapons are specifically in their own small category, and their descriptions all specify that they're 'one of the legendary armaments'.

You could make a slave knight gael build with the executioner's Sword and the improved "Way of white disc(?)" Yet you could do many builds I might try to do this when i get the game someday
When I saw "Ancient Dragon's Lightning Spear" I got so hyped. "Oh man, chucking red lightning spears? That's going to feel awesome. It's going to be a cooler Sunlight spear" nawp. I mean it's strong, but we have so many lightning incantations that mimic lightning stake instead...don't get me wrong, I love what we got and I've been enjoying the new ancient lightning incantations....but when I go from casting those back to the regular lightning spear I'm left feeling wanting. Ancient Dragon Lightning Spear should've been something that was thrown, not yet *another* version of Lightning Stake. We already have Frozen Spear, and Fortissax's Lightning Spear to replicate that. Not sure why they tied it to a weapon that doesn't even scale off of faith to begin with. Feels like such a strange decision. Also, great upload. Subbed!
quality builds have been the meta for like every soulsborne game, it's definitely time to move on. ER is very geared towards magic of some kind between int, faith, arcane, and all the things that require a combo of such.
Lota of cool weapons. And armor. I have looked at a couple guides but wanna try to find a majority on my own. I started as a wretch and was naked for so long LOL
The Devourer's Scepter would be a lot of fun just going through land squishing those little chinchilla lookin' critters. Kinda like spendin' the afternoon swiggin' beers and poppin' rats with the .22 down at the landfill, real sophisticated like...lol
Yeah same here. It makes sense on the executioners but slamming around beautiful intricate weapons like the golden order or moonlight greatsword seems barbaric. They should have the knight greatsword moveset imo.
Got the achievement without getting number 3 on this list, so I suppose that one is either not legendary or maybe you only need to find a certain number of weapons?
There are a ton of unique and cool weapons in the game but only these 9 legendary armaments, i assume its mostly cause they are tide to out of the way (somewhat) difficult bosses because of the achievement
In all honesty, EldenRing's rendition of the Moonlight Great Sword is kind of mediocre. Having to rely on FP to manually activate the moonlight rays and being vulnerable during its animation is just effy. And its introduction and obtainment is, to me at least, underwhelming. Compared to Bloodborne's rendition, which was a phenomenal master piece. And its design looks average, adding snow to its damage and effects is odd as well. Wished it was pure magic damage just like its predecessor in Darksouls 1 and not being split damage.
Damn, i thought STR/FAITH was a build pattern for most souls games but every faith weapon i see mostly scales with DEX/FAITH. Did i mess up my build? 😔
Sword of Night and Flame goes beyond the borders of broken. Hands down best weapon in the game. If someone thinks something trumps it than please share your thoughts
@@dankolaska4277 Yeah I respec to it, I like it but its no where near OP and the fact it fucks up on any sort of elevation is a huge bummer for me personally.
@@landonperry9371 yeah, moonlight greatsword is always my go to weapon to rush to, so imagine my disappointment after such a long questline just to get something barely above average
