you can also kill the dragon next to Fort Faroth in Caelid. you need a bleed weapon to make it go fast. when her health is low get on your horse and continue to slash. when she does the twitch of death quickly ride back to the site of grace close by and you'll get her runes and she'll respawn. rinse and repeat. golden scarab and gold pickled fowl foot for more runes. the higher your stats and the weapon level the quicker she'll die. the best weapon is the flail. 2 hand it and hold down L2. flail +13, Dex/Str at least 32 each, put some points into Mind and Endurance b/c it uses both, and use golden vow spell, bloodflame blade and flame grant me strength and i can kill her 2 times before the gold pickled fowl foot runs out. 2 times in 3 minutes. that's 20 times an hour for a total of 3 million an hour.

#1 - The Ball: Still works. #2 - Converted Tower: Either doesn't work or i'm not jumping in the right spot. It seemed like it was working but after 6 seconds of swinging I died. #3 - The Bird: Still works #4 - Cliff: The same thing as #2 happened. So it's safe to assume #2 truly doesn't work anymore.
Wit the golden scarab and golden pickled fowl foot the Elder Dragon Greyoll method is the most efficient. 50k runes + 20% more runes with golden scarab and 30% more runes with gold pickled fowl foot (lasts 3 minutes) you get 75k runes. With high enough stats and the right buffs (as mentioned in my other comment) you can kill her 2 times before the gold pickled fowl foot runes out giving you 150k runes in less than 3 minutes. I wouldn't be surprised if you can kill her 3 times in 3 minutes with the flail, dexterity and strength maxed out
hypothetically speaking, if i had killed Varre immediately (which i didn't) and could therefore no longer access his questline (i def can) do i really need to get to the mountaintop of the giants in order to get to mohgwyn and do the bird thing? (hypothetically)
@@diamondmagma7071 that's because mogwhyn's palace is underground. you can get there by completeing varre's questline, or by getting to the consecrated snowfields. more info on the wiki

@@yuhn5941 it is located at that site of grace the Palace Approach ledge road right on the edge of the cliff a few feet from grace. Easy to hit him and reset

In the spot you died in on their world would be where your runes drop. Elample would be (You start a invasion at the First Step then the person you end up invading is outside a cave a little ways away, you then would get moved to that cave in their world, then if you lose your runes will drop at that cave in your world, but you will respawn at The First Step in your world, requiring you to go to the cave to retrieve the runes.) Hope that explanation helps.
@@Snackable_ yeah it does in a way lol. So basically try not to have many when trying to do invasions cuz ya might lose them in a random cave that's a lot harder than the 1 at the 1st step lol. If this were any other game man lol cuz I've spent 999hr999m899sec lol it's stuck there lol. it's bad that now the bird farm only gives 11,000 and they rather nerfed it or I heard it wrong, but I think they said 100,000 so now I'm at level 94 and have to do this 5 times for 1 level.

Does anybody know if theyll bring the jumping off the cliff rune farm back?? Used to be the only farm i ever did but now its gone😒 also an ash of war used to drop from doing that farm so why would they get rid of it?
Yes you can but you have to reach the secret path to the haligtree and somewhere in the secret part of the mountain tops you can find a portal that brings you directly to the location but you will have to search up how to reach it
@@michaeljvandyck No it still works, I've been doing it every day. Just need to make sure you turn around as soon as the ball spawns and make sure it falls off the cliff to the right side.
#3 seems a lot quicker than the sleeping dragon repeat trick which still works btw i dont understand how people get it to despawn i get stuck on trees and still make it to the grace lol
@@physique_413 no, you have to do a quest with the maidenless guy and he’ll give you a item that teleports you to the location you can’t get too. It’s super easy
#4 is definitely dead now. I tried the original area I would jump from a year ago when I did my last playthrough and I tried the area you jumped from. You just die of fall damage now sadly.
@@Dre_.990 try white dragon farm while his dying you can run on the horse to reset the grace and you get 70k souls and dragon will still be there unfortunately I wasn't fast enough and he's not there anymore but I think it's the best way to get a lot of souls? or there any other great options?

yeah... as so many others have said, this could be a real good "tutorial" but it's missing some very important info for new players. So much so that it's basically a waste of time. Sadge
