44:58 There is! I was doing 140% speed challenge on ds3(challenging part is that my speed is still 100%), and Hawkwood, with all his estus, took me 9 minutes, and 100+ attempts... wish i've seen someone else do that challenge, but oh well, i've seen myself at least.
@@Gary_a_normal_human_being a fair fight, apparently. Reading my own stuff back, he was like "another final boss", but "Not too fast, not like a super-saiyan". "You just have to react to his very aggressive pokes, attack carefully and with a thought put into it". Which in retrospect sounds weird to read, considering his second phase and me, playing only with a knife, and therefore being unable to even quickly remove the ghost either. Somehow i did it, and somehow he was fun, spending only two hours fighting. And i said "Friede was much stronger", which is not saying a lot, because she was incredibly hard. Apparently i came to him after losing to her a lot, and it made me much better at this speed. And no, 140% didn't help Aldrich, he was still too slow to exist. But it helped Yhorm, even fixed his AI, letting me see combos i've never seen before.
@@Gary_a_normal_human_being alright i lied to you. I checked again, and back when i fought Pontiff he was weak ONLY because i leveled up health. I'm replaying the game again on 140%, and he's an unbelievable menace. And very fun, when i don't just tank him, actually dodging all he does instead. Gundyr is better in terms of entertainment, but Pontiff feels like a true story boss.
I have seen this challenge 2-3 times, and it is still funny how often a whip or shield gets into the 2nd part of the crit animation. Since they can't crit, it does no damage.
I actually used every weapon in the game 40% of them are so fucking useless damage wise So much that every time i see them +24 lvl, i wanna cry for the time i spent to spend those runes for nothing
I have a proposition for the most torturous run any human could do you take this random weapon generator apply it to armor and then do a challenge where you are only allowed to do dmg with the briar armor that you randomly get

looks like skum got the pizza swap glitch unintentionally at 6:05, had the stars been aligned perfectly and the weapon was randomized to a somber weapon margit would have been done with.
I wonder if he used something that applied bleed ti your weapon it'd stay on the weapon since the game itself doesn't really count it as changing your weapon (thats why it doesn't cancel the attack animation) maybe he already tried and i missed it in the video or he didn't put it in the video or something along those lines but i feel like that could've helped with greyoll.

I farmed two of every weapon in the game and 2 of every alterable armor. They aren't max level, but they are +9 or +24. I have every spirit leveled up to + 9, except I need to get Dung eater still. Gonna have to go to new game +2 for that.
