Fun fact as the number fog gates goes to infinity the likelihood that no fog gate stays the same is about 37%. So if the randomizer uses a true random method we should expect about ~60% of randomizer runs to have at least one fog gate that hasn’t changed.
Truly the way this randomizer should be done! I also genuinely love how you killed Gideon, called him a nerd and then pulled up a giant virtual map that you were making of how all the portals fit together - The inherent, even if unintended, comedy there is top notch.
Bushy, I thought you might find it interesting to know that your map looks identical to the troubleshooting flow chart used with the AN/APG70 radar on the F-15E that I flew for 18 years of my 32 year career in the USAF. Yes, it was a nightmare. Have a good one and see you on the next video!
11:00 The Radahn fight is typically at night, which is triggered by the cutscene. I believe there is also a fog effect which doesn't go away after dying.
You're my favorite challenge runner at this point, Bushy. Mad props for all the effort you put it in for not only the initial stream, but also your awesome editing for these youtube videos. Please keep it up brother
"Why it is so bright" [about Radahn fight] I think, it is because it's not festival time, which setting time to midnight and you was able to enter fight during day
Only partway through and I just want to say that the editing is WILD. As someone whose done small amounts of design and editing, the creativity throughout the videos makes me so jealous of how cool and smart it all is.
As to the point you are making in the intro - most people play this with dungeon crawler mode, so running trough the same dungeons 10-50 times wouldn't be fun, it would just be tedious. That said I do appreciate your approach and I find it very interesting and I'm going to enjoy this vid a lot, thanks dude ;)
an interesting run to me would be one where you complete every NPC sidequest in 1 run, Minus the ones that you would be unable to do because of conflicting quests
Would be cool if they could build this into the mod so you physically can't fast travel and so the randomiser keeps that into account, thus not creating dead ends.
Firelink Shrine theme in elden ring hits different (: Always good to see you back bushy Amazing video as always, and the editing is getting better also Keep up the good work brother.
Watched several streams of this, but it’s still fun to see the edited down version! Can’t wait to see Elden Ring FULLY randomized with no fast travel. Btw, the spear you used is a Great Spear which is why it took so much stamina
great video i just thought it was funny how malenia and rennala's great runes were swapped in the editing. also i never thought i'd see bushy sponsored by honkai lol
Tbh this is one of my favorite videos you put out. I would love to see this same challenge being applied in combination with a different one in the future.
Dude it's kind of insane how OP you are at the fights when you're not forcing yourself into some shit build or item situation. Like random map must have been maddening to the point of insanity at times, but when the fights broke out you just slapped.
Damn man, such an engaging video, had to leave like 15 min ago, but was lost on your video, didnt finish it yet. i'll keep watching it later, great content man!
Fast travel is helpful and can help a game be fun, but sometimes I can only imagine how much more chaotic a game would be if I needed one item on the other side of the map and I needed to spend an hour to get there.
I think you should also be allowed to warp to Roundtable Hold whenever you want, as long as you want right back to where you were. Having no access to weapon upgrading seems too mean.
Someone needs to make a mod where everything is randomized, enemies are invisible, and their name doesn’t show so you have to figure it out by the effects from their move set and we watch as true suffering and depression unfold
