Holy shit this is the funniest strat I ever seen. Fuckin igor spent his whole life fighting and screaming about bayle and then this guy just sneaks up on him and farts on him until he dies

Ah poison mist. Everytime I leave you I come back, wondering why I ever left to begin with.

The blue dew talisman will refill your fp before the poison wares off.

Be careful not to run out of fp, cuz if you try to cast without enough fp, the action where you shake the seal and scratch your head will trigger him

Works. Talismans: Primal glintstone blade, Old Lord's talisman, Blessed blue dew talisman. Be as light as possible so that you can move quickly. Outside the arena, use unseen form then assassin's gambit in that order. Keep only a staff for unseen form and a sword or something for assassin's gambit ash of war. You are not going to fight so no need to keep anything else. As soon as you enter the arena, lock-on to Bayle then start moving towards right hugging the wall as much as possible. Every 15, 20 seconds use unseen form and assassin's gambit, in that order, and move directly behind Bayle. Once there, cast the spell and ash of war one more time, crouch and start moving towards Bayle. Stay crouched all the time and don't move a muscle. Start casting poison mist for the next half an hour. It is very difficult to summon Igon because Bayle is most likely to one-shot you. But if you can manage it run towards the summon when the Bayle's health is critical.

I defeated him earlier today with the mimic, but it was a painful fight for sure. Only wish I had this cheese earlier. Oh well, Guru strikes again!!

Folks this still works even after the patch! Just be sure to activate the ash of war BEFORE the unseen form spell each time! It took me 3-4 cycles of this to finally get behind the guy

now theres gonna be thousands of sunbros attempting this while the baffled host gets oneshot at the start

There is a talisman in the dlc that constantly refills your FP! Blessed Blue Dew Talisman!

It's important to note that the Poison Mist ash of war ALWAYS aggroes Bayle, no matter what. It must be the Poison Mist incantation.

I just did this, it still works, you have to use BOTH the spells and MUST crouch walk behind him. Even with black knifes armor

Confirmed this still works on the latest 1.13 patch. 2nd playthough melee character was having trouble with this boss, so I decided to try this cheese. Took a couple tries to get it right. You have to be completely still (no walking at all) when recasting Unseen Form and Assassin's Gambit or he will aggro.

still works even after the latest patch. used the ash before the spell and used the blessed blue dew talisman instead of drinking fp flasks.

Works very well. Thank you! Just remember to keep recasting spell then ashe as you sprint around and then when your behind, stay crouched, don't recast.

Couldn't get the summoned npc to stay alive, so used this strategy but backed off at about an inch of hp left and went for the summon sign. Worked like a charm 👌

I did this. It takes like 45 minutes but, this 100% absolutely works. My only missing HP was from Assassin Gambit activation. Thank you very much for this intel.

Still work for me. Literally tried this yesterday. I fuked up the first time and I believe is that I swing my weapon when I ran out of mana to cast poison mist which trigger alert on bayle. So 2nd time I carefully drink mana pot way before I ran out. I also never stay too close to its tale, probably one human away. Use unseen form (incantation spell) l + any dagger/thrust sword/twin blade with assassin's gambit ash of war. Cast both before I enter the room, sprint and hugh right until bayle made U-turn and I recast both spell again. I have left hand with sigil, spell unseen form, right hand with twinblade + ash of war assassin gambit, so I just tab L1 then L2 to recast, by the time I was walking towards back of bayle, I never recast anymore and start casting mist. You may want to equip accessories that reduce fp cost + fp regen for QoL. Just make sure you don't cast poison mist when run out of mana which will trigger aggro.

Whats with these all these DLC bosses divebombing you as soon as you get in, its a nightmare...

It works. I cheesed his ass a like A Philly cheesesteak! Thanks for this! Tips on my run: It's gotta be a 2nd fight, can't be first fight because of the intro, so get rid of your runes before doing this. Only worry about blue flasks cuz otherwise you're gonna die anyway so no need to heal. For talismans the new blessed blue dew jawn, old lord's, primal glint stone, and flocks canvas should all help w/ damage and MP cost saving. Lastly, Bayley only moves in the opening frames like shown, so don't slow down, keep moving so you get out his vision to where he stops so you can close the distance from right behind like the video shows. Or, he will eat you. 😂

Use the old lords talisman as well so the effect lasts longer

Just did it by using Unseen Form + Assassin's Gambit + Black Knife Set + Crepus's Vial Talisman - works like a charm :)

Not sure what they’re were thinking when they designed this boss, no weakness, most of his attacks have aimbot, how are you supposed to win? Easily the hardest boss in the game

It's not working. Boss can see you when you enter the arena. Neither invis nor normal.

It works don"t spam the mist poison do it once and let it disappear and then do it again the damage will go till 4400 and then stop repeat the process W video do it near the right side leg.

If you kill him like this will you still be able to complete Igon quest without summoning him?

Ps5 user here, the cheese still works today as 5/27/24! Many people says it doesn’t work but it does. You just have to be very careful and keep making sure you’re using your unseen form and assassins gambit. And once near bayle, make sure to approach him while crouching!

In the Game of Thrones books (don't which one) the starks were going to poison the Targaryen dragons your strategy reminded me of that

If anyone wants a non cheese but easy way to kill him respect to a faith build and get frenzied burst. Make sure you have Igor helping and mimic tear then just run as far away as you can from him and cast frenzied burst hit him like 2 or 3 times then wait for mimic and Igor to re Agro him. I beat him without taking any damage

Ok I can confirm it still works on 2nd August 2024 . PS5 version. Thing is don’t ever do anything that requires you to stand up during the whole process . And he will NOT change into second phase !😊😊

Doesn't work for me. I did get it to work. Assassin's Gambit and Unssen Form can be cast while still working. If you have enough FP and/or the Cerulean Amber Medallion and Blessed Blue Dew Talisman you can cast both constantly. Bayle shouldn't see you casting. Once you get behind him finish with poison. Don't run trying to get around the arena, a brisk walk should do it, and stay close to the wall.

I almost tried this strat and decided to give him a few shots while summoning Igon. Igon hyped me up so much I almost killed him first try and beat him on my 2nd.

I did it this morning - it still works. You just have to do EXACTLY what he shows in the video

Ty also if you haven't I did a cheese for the dreadknight in the fortress with the wings attack spell. Climb ladder let him climb L2 him as he climbs once he gets up jump down climb back up. He ll jump down and repeat.

A quick warning, the poison spray mix consumable triggers him but not the poison miss incantation. I did all of this but tried the poison spray miss instead and he immediately turned around.

Before he dies, quickly summon that dude at the entrance

Tried this cheese it didn’t work whenever I entered the arena he starts spinning around looking for me and then whenever i get behind home he somehow senses me even tho I made extra sure that I had both assassins gambit active and unseen form

This was the only way I could beat that dragon in DS3 that would melt your weapons.

guys if you hav it use the cerulean seed talisman to restore fp aswell as the faithful canvas talisman for the poison to last longer

I didn't even touch him. Had him down to 1/4 of his health. Didn't even move and somehow he woke up and one shot me. What'd I do wrong?

One way to beat him fairly easy without cheese is use the spell fleeting Microcosm! Just keep spamming it and he will build stagger fast! This will also allow you to complete the side quest for the dragon hunter npc, just summon him as soon as battle start and spam the spell!

Tyrannicon is the hero we didn't know we needed.

If you're trying to complete igons quest, it is possible using this but you have to be very careful

Be careful guys I just did this but I now read I missed out on Thollier quest where u get an incantation and the dragon priestess as summon so try to do that first. (I havent even seen a Thollier). The weapon from the priestess u get regardless and its sick its like fallingstar beast jaw but lightweight mode.

Or u could use blessed blue dew talisman then u don't have ti worry about fp flask

To be extra safe, use the BLACK KNIFE ARMOR to silence your steps and CONCEALING VEIL + CREPUS'S VIAL if you're extra.
