Elden Ring DLC PvP Invasions - Dragon Form Dragon Cult Incantations 

Not sure why it scales with strength/arcane though. It’s a lightning based weapon so you’d expect it to scale with dex/faith Especially when her heart only boosts lightning incants which all have zero arcane requirement Potentially a good weapon ruined by scaling that makes no sense

@@abrupt9090 Because Fromsoft has this nasty habit in ER to give every class access to every damage type. Instead of having elemental damage tied to respective stats, each stat has access to every damage type via spells and weapons like this one. Much to the detriment of builds that want to use such an archetype, most of em have no synergy with each other, like ghostflame weapons and death hexes, golden order weapons and fundamentalist incants, blood incant‘s and briar sorceries, lighting weapons and AD-cult incantations, magic-weapons with D scaling in int/fth/arc, magma sorcery leaning toward int. Or this mace and AD-cult incantations. Either we waste a f-ton of points to make a build look homogenous or we play at max lvl where stat allocation doesn‘t matter, I hate it.

@zawarudo8991 While I agree that Fromsoft weapon scaling is definitely a "why are you like this." Meme at times. Alot of times it's so you don't get access to some broken combos at lower levels.

Could do that in the previous games too but they made the buff last an actual duration time this time. In the previous games it lasted like 5 seconds.

​​​​@@rabbitsinthemoon9183finally tried my hand at invading with this build. I'm not very good with it but it's amazing how many people ego challenge fortissax's lightning spears. I'd say the vast majority of my kills are baiting people and casting it right on top of them. It's great against the more noobish ganks I went with a milady with wingstance as a backup weapon but I might switch it to flame skewer (which ever one has the follow up) for more ease of use

Yes but Flowerstone Gavel scales with arcane, this is why I don't use it here.

The damage is amazing, unfortunately the DB build up is very low, I never had it triggered once in my life. I tried with lvl 0 seals just to trigger Deathblight, it just never happened, no matter how long they stood in the clouds. Wish they would buff it!

I guess by "this build" you mean using the heart cause Dragon Cult is a total different class of spells. I want to use the dragon form with Dragon Communion for sure.

@@rabbitsinthemoon9183 yup, the priestess heart buffs what you're using but the rock heart buffs the incants i listed. I'm planning on trying out the setup you're rocking soon, but the one im using is pretty good as well. your damage might be higher tho

@@KevOfPeen Controllers do it much more smoothly. WASD causes sharp turns, so it's a bit more difficult to spin in a fluid manner.

If you consider taking 45% extra damage (30% stardust 15% scorpion) on an already very vulnerable buiild better? I don't want to be one shotted with stationary spells like Fortissax's spells or ADLS. The new hammer scales mainly with arcane and str, so no, this weapon probably useful with Dragon Communion (I tested it though, you will lack str investment and damage if you go full incant damage).

@@rabbitsinthemoon9183 after several tests in PvP you are totally right, the extra damage is clearly not worth when you get killed so quickly

I always cast with Left Hand Armament. Using 2 Gravel Stone Seals gives me 2x +15% damage to Dragon Cult Incantations, so yes, more power 🙂 sometimes I use Azur's Glintstone Staff off hand for increased casting speed.

Haven't tested it yet but I would guess DK set is better!

Death knight set only gives 8% damage boost to Dragoncult incantation Meanwhile priest heart gives a whooping 20%, with 7 flat defenses ( its better than being actually naked) and light roll is still super good

Arcane dragon communion builds are just as unhappy because the arcane scaling dragon weapon helps the spells that are boosted by a pure faith seal.

Dragon cult sorceries don't scale with arcane though, the hammer doesn't fit the build just helps lower lightning resistance...which seems pointless since he's just one shotting everyone. Looks sick though haha

Indeed it is, but as I mentioned this got requested and sometimes I do requests.

Cause you get only get 8% extra damage while taking 15% extra damage. A death wish on such a squishy build.

double the damage buff obviously. gravel stone seals give 15% buff to dragon cult incatations. 1 seal= 15% dragon cult buff. 2 seals = 32%. 2 seals+priestess heart= 58% buff

I guess you mean the dragon breath's etc.? Different school of incantations, this video is about Dragon Cult Incantations which is full of lightning spells.
